I’m really disappointed with my experience at this salon. I went for a consultation about a month before my appointment, and the hairdresser told me the price would start at $170 and go up depending on the products we would use. When I arrived for my actual appointment, we confirmed together that I wanted a half head of highlights.

However, once my hair was done, the hairdresser told me she had done a full head instead, something she never mentioned before starting, and then charged me $335. She did say she charged me less because I’m a student, which I truly appreciated, but I still left feeling uneasy about how the situation was handled.

I’ll admit I’m disappointed in myself for not speaking up right away about the price difference, but I’m also really disappointed in the service. I went back to my original hairdresser recently (who I’ve trusted for years), and she told me that what was done actually wasn’t a full head of highlights at all — even though that’s what I was charged for.

Marija and Bernadette were simply the best! Since I moved, I’ve been trying to find a good hair stylist in the region! I went to several places that left my hair dry and damaged. As you can see on the before picture, the highlights in my hair were also very uneven. I told Marija I wanted to go for a more natural look and I couldn’t be happier with the result! She fixed my hair and gave me more subtile highlights that are blended perfectly!

Cherry on top, since she uses organic dye, it’s a lot less damaging for the hair and it’s a more eco-friendly option! This also means that the salon doesn’t smell like chemical products - instead, it smells like eucalyptus and lavender giving you a luxurious spa-like experience at a fair price! Especially with Bernadette’s amazing head massage!

Everything was perfect, and their attention to details and the care they have for their customers make you feel right at home❤️ So happy I found this place and will not go...

Shout out to Bernadette! Her scalp massage was so relaxing and it was the best one I have ever had in hair salons. The salon was small and cozy and full of sun, and there were several treats prepared for the customers. As I am very sensitive to the smell, it was really amazing that the salon didn’t have any chemical smells. The hair dresser Marija was super nice and knowledgeable! She was very skilled and did a good hair cut for me.

The only concern I may address is that the aesthetic for this salon is more western, compared to the asian hair salons I always went to. so it may not suit you that well if you are looking for an Asian hairstyle (there is nothing to do with the quality of this salon, it’s just personal aesthetic preference! ) But it will be really fascinating for you if you are looking for something new to try with a warmly service! :)
