Tips: call in for bus and schedule for the day because a lot of kids when not supervised are pretty bad. Also Free parking for 3 hours.
I come here pretty much everyday during the week at 930am. Just wanna explain my experience. A lot of parents are nice and supervise there kids. But there’s tons of adults (abiut 1/4) who come here and don’t watch their children. The kids are running around pushing shoving cutting people in line. One time some kid got punched in the nose and on purpose… blood everywhere by the Lasagna. These kids are mostly Non responsive when asked to stop. You literally have to go to their parents and explain… today I had more then I could count on my hands and toes of East Indian kids pushing shoving cutting my kid in line not listening to any adult. Their parents don’t do anything. It’s like they don’t understand English (ignore you) cause there’s no response just ignorance from both the parents and their children.. The staff isn’t around much on the floor. Since their parents aren’t supervising like they are suppose to it can be extremely frustrating for parents who actually supervise and teach their children the proper way.. Have had to leave early multiple times because these kids have no morals or any empathy. It’s like they were all taught to be selfish. Btw Being a kid isn’t an excuse.. There’s proven factual examples of why this is wrongful thinking. Please! Teach your kids properly people!
Wait times are usually 2-3 mins but if your first one there your in within 30 seconds. The staff is all nice. I really enjoy the workers when interacting with them. That’s why I gave this place a 3 star instead of a 1 star because at least there’s good responsible adults and kids who were taught CORRECTLY.
I feel like it’s a third world establishment 1/4 of the time. Due to the savage kids who can’t even use there brains or hearts. No training or adulting done with them.
One thing to say about the rules here is that if you forget your card they don’t even have a way to look you up or get you in. So take a picture of it.. You probably don’t wanna be treated As if youre just trying to get stuff for free. One of the staff members recognized me but still wouldn’t let me in due to regulations here. I find that very dumb.
Thinking I’ll not get membership next year. As it’s too much risk. Another example is there’s Kids over 2 usually 5-6 year olds running around jumping over kids in the toddler section. Which is rare to happen but it does.. Please train your little animals.
We don’t need more selfish ignorant adults on this planet or living in Canada.
You don’t use positive reinforcement with negative behaviour you idiot parents are the reason the kids are so stupid and selfish. Why would you want your kid to treat others like that? Lol what a joke. Learn some...
Read moreAll in all, I really love this place. However, I still am not certain it's actually a museum. I didn't see anything "educational" there, but there is lots of activities for the kids to do and it is (mostly) wheelchair accessible. They have a little area designated for kids 2 and under, and everything else seems suitable for kids up to 10 or so. There is an optical illusion area with a slide, a water table area which is a big hit with all the kids, an arts and crafts area, a big play structure with tunnels and whatnot, the train that you can walk through that also has books and costumes for dress-up in the back, and an area where you can build towers with a remote controlled crane. Older children would most likely get bored easily. At most I think you could spend 3 hours here. It can get loud on a busy day, but it has an open feel to it and theres lots of places to sit. One complaint I have: Aside from the staff at the front desk and one or two doing rounds, there is no one around to help explain things, show you how to use something, or even enforce rules. I had an experience there a while ago when my daughter was almost 2, and some much older kids were running up the slide and one smacked into my daughter who was trying to go down. I had to be the one to tell them not to do that. Of course they didn't listen to me, and the adult with them ignored it and just stared blankly when I encouraged them to pay attention. Perhaps not so much the fault of the lack of staff, but of ignorant parents. At that moment I wish there had been an employee who could have helped me out though, which would make sense since it was totally packed with people. With all that said, your young child will have an absolute blast and I...
Read moreWe went to the children's museum today and took our two granddaughters ages 4 and 1. there were so many things for them both to get entertained by. We spent three hours there and they came home exhausted. There is play structures for them to play in, there is activity centers for them to build things, there is a blocks and construction area where they can build towers and make them come crashing down, and there is a really nice area where they can just sit and quietly play and read a book. on the train inside the museum is very cool you can see how a train works you can see what it looks like to drive the train and they're in the train cars at self you can sit quietly and also read books. We brought coffee in and they had no issue with that. There are places to eat and you can buy small amounts of food there but not a full restaurant. We paid $11 per person from ages one to a hundred and one but we decided at the end of the day that we would buy a family membership for each child and that was only $45 total so we ended up being able to use our admission today as a credit so we didn't have to pay any extra. this place is a lot of fun and because it's indoors means when it's raining it's a great place to come and spend time with the kids. Winter or summer. Oh and one of the thing when you are going there you get three hours of free parking so don't pay for parking before you go in just give them your license plate number once you get your admission. and if you have a yearly pass like we just bought you get three free hours every single time you go...
