📌🌟✨️👍♦️I did not go inside, but took pictures, and this building is interesting while it is unique.Chongqing Art Gallery is an art museum located in Chongqing's Yuzhong District. The primary focus is on traditional Chinese painting, printing, and miniature sculptures. This building, nicknamed the 'Chopstick building', is one of Chongqing's trademarks, and it resembles a pile of huge black and red chopsticks placed on top of each other. At the end of the red chopsticks, you can see the Chinese character 'Guo', which means nation. Chongqing Art Museum (Chinese: 重庆美术馆) (also known as Chongqing Art Gallery or Chongqing Guotai Arts Center) is an art museum in Yuzhong District of Chongqing. Its main focus is on traditional Chinese painting, printmaking, and small sculptures. The building is well known for its striking architecture. Its outer structure consists of an interwoven pattern of beams. Red beams run north–south and black beams run east–west. The design is said to be inspired by Chopsticks and the traditional Chinese meal of Hot pot. The design has also been compared to the white fig tree, which is common in Chongqing.

It's an art museum but the architecture of the building suggests more exciting exhibits than reality. It's not as big as you'd hope, and can be easily toured in under and hour. When I went, the whole upstairs was basically repetition of the same style of painting. Could use more variety, maybe some installations.
