The Dafo Ancient Temple (大佛古寺) in Guangzhou is a captivating blend of ancient grandeur and modern vibrancy. Nestled in the bustling heart of Beijing Lu, this historic temple stands as a serene oasis amid the urban buzz, effortlessly drawing visitors with its majestic architecture and tranquil ambiance.

As one of the oldest structures in the city, the temple showcases intricate traditional designs, illuminated beautifully at night when its lights create a truly mesmerizing spectacle. Despite being surrounded by towering contemporary buildings, the temple retains its peaceful charm, offering a space for quiet reflection and spiritual solace.

Inside, visitors are treated to a harmonious mix of history and modernity, with carefully preserved antiquities and ongoing renovations aimed at maintaining its timeless appeal. They have two vegetarian restaurants. Out of which one is a vegetarian buffet with an amazing variety. We are actually vegetarians and we had issues in finding good veg food in the vicinity and were so so glad to find this place. We actually went there twice. They have so many live counters, really yummy food and very very nice hospitality! The temple is...
