Louidon Mega Apartment Hotel Of Kam Rueng Plaza — Local services in Guangzhou City

This is a very economic hotel and is within walking distance to Beijing Road with all the restaurant surrounded and local supermarket under the hotel building . ||||Other than that I don’t recommend this hotel due to the lousy receptionist . We reach at about 5 pm due to travel all the way from Macau by bus, train and car . All we need is to get some rest and check in faster but unfortunately, we was told that room not ready yet due to previous customer MIA and cause late check out . ||||The receptionist suggest us to go walk around and come back later . We are not satisfy with the arrangement .By right the room should be ready then we ask for upgrade to other room and we pay for the difference but they said fully book . At the end they gave us a smaller room than what we book for resting and once the room ready we swift back . ||||We waited until 7:30 pm only get our room and the receptionist upgraded us to a bigger room . Despite of the room upgraded, but we are still not satisfy with the arrangement because our first day itinerary was mess up and the tickets we bought for night tour is all gone and there are total 6 of us. ||||We request to talk to the manager but still no response on 2nd night . We request to meet the manager again on the 3rd day morning and they only able to reply me through WeChat at 8:11 pm not even face to face talk and ask what we want ?? ||Can you imagine we request to meet the manager at the first day and it turns out chat through WeChat on the last night of stay and is 8:11 pm . Even thought they already upgraded us the room type but this is not what we want. We was outside that night and back late. I told the person who WeChat me said that we want first night of the stay to refund due to get the room very very late at night compare to international standard check in time at 3 pm and our tour tickets all wasted . The receptionist reject our request and we said we can’t accept it and at least half of the refund if they can’t make it full day refund. ||||The interesting part came, the receptionist said if want to refund can but we have to move our stuff all to the room type we booked earlier and it was 12 am midnight when they saying this statement . We were so frustrated , this is not even called refund . The management have no sincerity and concern to solve the problems.||||The WiFi in the room is sucks, toilet is flooding with water when you shower, toilet is small and humid .||||And please note that , this hotel use different name at Agoda. They use Luidon Mega Apartment and claimed that it is for international reference purpose while their real name is sunshine kamrueng...

The building is like a duplex studio apartment occupying among few hotel managements. Some other hotels' reception located in different floor, while Sunshine's reception located at 15th floor. There are 3 elevators serving more than 25 floors and with only 2 of them worked during our stay was just painful. The building was kinda run down. You can see the wallpaper torn and fell apart in most places. But when you understand how this building works, then you probably tell why the maintenance was so bad.||||Particularly this hotel, however, the service staff were surprisingly good and helpful. They always open for your request. Of course, certain requests may not be fulfilled but in our case, we were satisfied with what they have done their best. The room was classic and spacious though a bit old, but not as bad as the walkway and other part of this building. ||||The location is somehow strategic as it is accessible to convenience store, cafes, restaurant and also a walking distance to Beijing Street Walk "北京路步行街" where you can street shopping and bargain. When we just arrived and being not know much about this location, our only problem was to direct the taxi drivers as most of them do not know the hotels and Kam Rueng Plaza. Therefore, using Uber has solved our problem.||||WIFI is available and there was hard time connected it and it was super extremely slow. This happen in most areas that we went include restaurants, cafe, etc.||||Overall we quite satisfied with the hotel and its rooms. It is definitely a pleasant stay and thumbs up...

Apartment is in an old building, Kam Rueng Plaza which is connected to Hengrun Plaza as a short cut to the popular Beijing Road. Being an old building, be open minded, do not expect 5-star super cleanliness on arriving at ground floor lift lobby. Check-in needs to take the slow lift to the 6th floor. Reception is a converted unit and the name may differ is not Lioudon (but Sunshine) and they are managed by the same people. You need to give your booking ID to check your reservation and your passports to register. Mostly speak chinese. Little or no english. No deposit required. Apartment is very clean with washing machine, fridge, cooker, TV (China channels only), WIFI, hair dryer. Nice view from Duplex Suite at 15th floor. Security key card to enter room. No lift security card required to get to any floor as building tenants are mixed long term/short term, residents, business and office.

For nearest Dim Sum easy to get to the famous Lucky Restaurant minutes away, next door inside Hengrun Plaza. Once you get to the floor by lift to the restaurant, be amazed by a totally different atmosphere, super clean and bright. Nice for taking photos. Convenient location and Metro is about 10...
