Visited Harbour Promenade this morning (July 23, 2025), and it was absolutely breathtaking! The sunrise over Victoria Harbour was a sight to behold, with the golden hues reflecting off the water and the city skyline waking up in a vibrant glow. The promenade is clean, spacious, and perfect for a leisurely stroll. I loved the mix of modern skyscrapers and the serene waterfront vibe-truly iconic Hong Kong! Plenty of spots to snap photos, and the morning breeze made it even more refreshing. Highly recommend catching the early light here for a magical experience. A must-visit for anyone in HK!

Crazy busy, people everywhere, it takes forever to walk through at the 8pm light show. The light show is 10mins and all that happens is music is played in the background with some of the buildings on Hong Kong island lighting up. My recommendation is to skip the show to avoid the crowds and go earlier or later. The buildings are still lit up the same. We also went on a Saturday night which may also be a reason why it was so busy and perhaps a weeknight might be less busy.

We came by here for the symphony of lights. There is a mild music being played along with the lights across the buildings on the Victoria harbour all getting lit up and changing into nice patterns. Wouldn't say it is out of the world experience perhaps. But on an evening, especially if it is your first day at HK, you can come by here and roam around watch the harbour views and relax. Picturesque backgrounds in the night with full views of the skyline. Recommended!
