Best 5 burger shops in town
Local artisan burger joint N+ Burger has opened a new location in Kai Tak Sports Park. Let’s try out this new burger shop.
Dining environments: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The theme color green is very eye-catching. The restaurant is bright and spacious, with many seats and tables. For paying homage to Kai Tak as the former location of Hong Kong International Airport, it features air travel-inspired decor such as large menus that look like airport flight boards as well as airplane windows with old photos of the former airport.
Food review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As Hong Kong’s first burger joint with its own pasture. Their premium grade AUS angus beef are free from any hormone growth promoters.
We ordered bacon cheeseburger, caramelized onion burger & hottie chicken burger. We also ordered some soft drinks and lemonade. All can add on to a combo meal with soft drinks and fries.
The Bacon Cheese features American cheese, bacon, fresh onion, tomato, pickles. This classic burger is juicy and well-balanced, meaty and sharp and the sourdough bun was a perfect match.
Caramelized onions burger ~ the patty was fresh and juicy. And the favour of homemade mustard sauce was nice and balanced with caramelized onions.
The fries and the wedges are cooked to perfection which were so crispy and creamy soft inside. And you can choose your own dip, the free homemade sauce smoky BBQ and honey mustard dip were also tasty. My favorite is the hottie chicken burger. The grilled chicken was so juicy and so fresh taste with the juicy pineapple.
Would also recommended lemonade which was quite sour but well-balanced with burgers.
Summary: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good place to stop for lunch. It’s a quiet place so you can enjoy the burgers and chill out. They serve nice burger combo in very reasonable price. Will...
Read moreI was in the area for an event and I stumbled across N+ Burger. Without much thoughts I went in and ordered a burger and a bunch of sides. I never expected it to be THE BEST BURGER PLACE IN HK!!
The Japanese Burger is one of kind. The beef is very fragrant and flavourful, combined with the wasabi sauce and the soft sourdough, it makes it very unique. Their combo deal is extremely worth it, by adding $40 you can get a drink and fries. I had their special drink, Viva, a peach drink that had the perfect amount of sweetness.
They have a variety of fries to choose from : classic fries, potato wedges, sweet potato fries. As well as different sauce to go with them. Their honey mustard and herb mayo in particular went extremely well with fries.
Apart from the classic delectable chicken tenders, they have a promotion, add $20 hkd for 2 pieces of chicken drumsticks. I never expected them to be so cripsy and juicy!! It is fried to perfection, pair it with their BBQ sauce and every bite makes you want to eat more and more!!
Another thing that stuck out to me was the Brussel Sprouts. I have never been to a fast food joint that served such healthy options. They were well seasoned and extremely delicious.
N+ Burger is without a doubt the best place to go when you are craving burgers!! With their wide range of burgers, sauces and sides, it has something for...
Read moreVery disappointed in this so-called, Premium burger store.
Saw the promo photos and read the menu, so thought we'd wait around a little for opening to try it.
We had the Mission Impossible burgers. The "slaw" was 2 handfuls of cheap lettuce, scraps of carrot and cucumber skin. Each sliced to different grades. No discernable dressing. My wife scraped her lettuce out so she could fit it in her mouth and said it was much better. I left mine in for the challenge and didn't taste much other than the lettuce. Bun was OK, but our patties of impossible meat were cooked to different degrees. One looked close to raw in the centre, the other cooked til grey.
The decor is bland/tacky, with mock airplane windows on one wall, filled with the least interesting, low res images of the original Kai Tak airport I have seen. At the end of the dining area is some weird ranch-like homage to cattle, with black and white photos of cows in a desolate farm. Drinks all appear to be served in paper cups, regardless of dine in/takeaway, which detracts further from any sense of "Premium".
Very suss on other reviewers that have one or...
