One of the interesting temples you can visit in Tai O is the Lung Ngam Monastery, which is situated along the Sun Ki footpath on the east side of the village. Constructed in 1926, this is a Buddhist and Taoist temple with three interior halls and a nicely decorated green tiled facade.
Within the centre hall, you'll find traditional temple features including a large shrine setup deity figures and offerings made by worshippers. The interior is well kept, tidy and makes for an attractive and brief viewing. Outside the temple, you'll find a couple of incense burners. The monastery grounds entrance is through a traditional gate structure as well.
