Espace Elastique 歸田園居 — Hotel in Hong Kong

Me and my wife wanted to have a getaway weekend and we booked Espace Elastic through a phone call. Thanks to Veronica, who is a great manager, highly educated, traveled a lot and she can even speak Finnish.||Apart from a nice homey Deluxe Room she gave us, she impressed us by suggesting not to provide plastic toothbrush and other non-environmental friendly stuff you may see in any hotels just to save the planet. The rooms are clean and good enough to have a nice weekend. We were not looking for another five star hotel, because we wanted to feel we are diluted with locals.||At the end of our trip, I needed to do an urgent work related to my job. Tai O is very peaceful place to visit and even after 3 nights stay there are still more places yet to explore. Hence staying at Espace Elastique was best choice due to central location. The room is very spacious and clean and has a balcony overlooking the street which is good for people watching. The hotel is few minutes walk to bus terminal that has services to Mui Wo for ferries to the islands and Tung Chung for shopping, dining and fastest and cheapest way to get to the airport by transferring to another bus. Tai O is a good place to stay to get to all the wonderful walking trails of Lantau as public transport to the trail start is not complicating. Will definitely make return trips and stay at...
