The restaurant is undeniably expensive, but the tranquil riverside setting and pleasant atmosphere make the price tag justifiable. While the menu is not particularly extensive, we found the dishes we ordered to be up to a satisfactory standard. It's worth noting that the restaurant was featured on a Netflix show, and is a family-run business with the same owners as seen on the show. That being said, the service may not be as attentive as one might expect in a larger chain restaurant, and there are some strict rules to abide by. For instance, outside food is not allowed, and each person is required to order at least one drink and one food item. If you find it difficult to comply with such rules, it may not be the best fit for you.
Regarding the food itself, we tried a pasta dish. It was YUMMY! Which was enjoyable enough to make us consider returning to sample more of the menu. We also noticed that the restaurant offered an array of coffee options, including Vietnamese and Turkish styles. It's worth noting, however, that some of the prices are quite steep, with some items approaching the $100 mark. We didn’t try the coffee. But they look cool!
In terms of logistics, the restaurant can get quite crowded, and we were fortunate to secure a table by arriving before 11:30am. To avoid disappointment, the owner recommended calling ahead to make a reservation, rather than relying...
Read moreWe turned up hungry for a late lunch. The menu is very short for dining (although there are plenty of cafe options : cakes). The portion sizes were very small for the cost. The food tasted okay, although we were disappointed with the avocado and spinach pasta which had no texture or seasoning.
Having watched the Netflix renovation, this place no longer captures the spirit of the street food and has seemingly reverted to the chaotic and confusing approach it had before. Menu dining options included Pizza bread, chicken wings and pasta. We left hungry having ordered 3 dishes between 2 off the main menu.
Come for a coffee and a cake, and enjoy the view and location. Don't stay for...
Read moreThe restaurant separate into 2 places. The one on the left side of the street and another one is on the right side of the street which i prefer you to choose the right sides because it’s next to the river. I recommended to book in advance because there are only 3 tables on the river sides. The view is way more better~
The price range is a bit higher than the normal restaurant (80~150hkd) but with the view is acceptable. The staff also so nice. They can speak english well so it’s easy to us as foreigners to communicate.
The right sides restaurant is behinds the gift shop so please ask them if you...
