The cinema is not ready for opening yet they forcefully open for business. They do not provide any discount to compensate their unready theater. Go elsewhere for a proper movie experience.
Terrible experience from the beginning to the end!
In need of maintenance and repair. Loved this theatre when it started out as the Grand, and it's seating was the most comfortable in HK. But after years of operation, it got worn down and service quality dropped. Now that the place is taken over by Broadway circuit, it's gotten worse. They didn't even bother retrofitting the place, just changed the sign and lowered the standards. Concession and ticket counter are understaffed resulting in long cues, website is a mess, theatre is dirty and the seats have that old foamy couch fell you get from an old community center sofa. Read moreWatched the new Dune movie in House 5. The entire room only had about thirty luxurious leather automated reclining seats and only three were occupied! Sadly no eating or drinking, due to Covid restrictions, but good not to have to hear bag rustling and open mouthed chomping for two and a half hours. This also meant uninterrupted sound, which was also spectacular and beautifully balanced. The downside? It cost 180 dollars, but I was on my own, not with the family.
