The Lion's Pavilion is a two level structure just a couple minutes walk from the Peak Tower, where you will arrive if using the historic Peak Tram. This is a free access viewing platform with excellent views of Victoria Harbour and the city of Hong Kong below.

Just walk down small Finley Road, to your left, after exiting the Peak Tower. You'll soon see the traditional Chinese structure with a moon gate style entrance. As you enter, you'll find several rows of steps, which help distribute crowds across the viewing platform area.

There is a traditional covered pavilion area as well, which is ideal for rainy conditions. Along the sides of the Lion's Pavilion, there are steps leading to a lower level viewing platform. This level isn't highly utilised by tour groups so can be a nicer place to enjoy the views if the upper level is too crowded.

From Lion's Pavilion, you have unobstructed views of Victoria Harbour, the Hong Kong Skyline and the Kowloon Skyline. When viewing conditions are favourable, this is a wondeful spot to include in your sightseeing at The Peak. Views are still impressive here when air quality isn't great. Lastly, after dark, it doesn't matter what the air quality is like, views are just remarkable.

In the end, if you plan to visit Victoria Peak, this is a must-see spot. It is free, easily accessible from the arrival area at the Peak and offers world-class, post-card quality views...

Lion's Point View Pavilion is a free multiple-level viewpoint only a minute's walk from the Peak Tower, located on Findlay Rd, The Peak. This is a popular viewing area with two levels available. It can be very busy at times, especially on weekends and holidays. The views available from these vantage points are beautiful day or night. Best of all is there is no charge for this viewing area. It's a great spot to get a sweeping view of Hong Kong island, Victoria Harbour and across to the Kowloon Peninsula. In the evening the city lights paint a spectacular scene that begs to be captured by a camera or your cell phone. It is named for the Lion's Club, which paid for its construction in 1976. After you enjoyed the panoramic view of the skyscrapers, take the time to appreciate the Lions Pavilion itself. Built in traditional Chinese style, the pavilion features all the traditional elements, including stone lions, moon arches, and green tiles. Every detail counts. The Lions Pavilion is just one of nine throughout Hong Kong donated by the Hong Kong Lion Club. The club's name symbolizes perseverance and is reminiscent of the Lion Rock across the harbour. Each pavilion has its unique nuances and built in...

The Lions Pavilion Observation Deck at Victoria Peak is a fantastic, low-key spot for incredible views of Hong Kong. I went recently and loved how peaceful it was compared to the busier Peak Tower. The panoramic view, especially at night, is absolutely stunning—you can see the city lights sparkling below, and it’s perfect for snapping amazing photos.

The best part? It’s free! To get there, take the Peak Tram to Victoria Peak, and from the Peak Tower, it’s just a short walk following the signs to the pavilion. The ambiance is calm and relaxed, making it a great place to just take in the beauty of the city. If you’re visiting Victoria Peak, don’t skip this spot—it’s ideal for anyone who loves great views without the crowds. Perfect for a quiet moment or a...
