We stayed at Bishop Lei Hotel for 10 days and had a wonderful experience overall. Although the first three days brought heavy rain and even a black rainstorm warning (which meant we couldn’t use the pool), we were busy exploring the city, so it didn’t affect our trip too much. Our room was on the 11th floor very comfortable, quiet, and well-maintained. If you want a better city view, I’d recommend requesting a higher floor. After long, busy days in Hong Kong, returning to our peaceful room was such a relief. The front desk staff were generally friendly and communicated well. Some delivered truly warm and excellent hospitality, while others could enhance the personal touch to make guests feel even more welcome. The concierge service was similar during our stay, I noticed 1 member who actively greeted guests and offered assistance, which was lovely. A little more consistent warmth from the whole team would make the experience even better. A big thank you to the housekeeping team on the 11th floor especially the lovely ladies who cleaned our room daily. They were warm, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. Their attention to detail made our stay extra comfortable, and we truly appreciated their kindness. Overall, Bishop Lei Hotel provided us with a quiet and cozy place to rest in the middle of Hong Kong’s energy and excitement.

I highly recommend staying at Bishop Lei International House—it’s truly a hidden gem in Hong Kong. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and professional staff made me feel welcome. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the best perks was the delicious and affordable room service breakfast, which I ordered every morning. It was a fantastic way to start the day without the hassle of finding food elsewhere. The location is excellent, right in the Mid-Levels, with easy access to the Mid-Levels Escalator—but here’s the thing: no one told me about it at check-in! Being my first time ever in Hong Kong, I only discovered it after multiple uphill walks, and I know from other reviews that many guests struggle with the hills. In my opinion, this is important enough to mention to every guest at check-in so they can take full advantage of it. Other great features include a water dispenser near the elevator, a free area shuttle, and even a small outdoor pool. The hotel offers incredible value for the price, and I will absolutely stay here again. If you’re visiting Hong Kong, this should be your top choice!

Firstly, the location is not good. People who’ve never been to HK might think it is but it’s very inconvenient and it’s up a steep hill. If you have any mobility issues, don’t stay here. The rooms were fine but not new or fancy. Clean, comfortable, everything worked. My sheets had hairs on them when I arrived. They were running a free upgrade offer while I was there but the upgrade was for up to 3 nights. I booked TWO ROOMS FOR NINE NIGHTS so I was told I couldn’t have the upgrade. I asked twice. Wth logic is that? If anything, I deserved 3 x 3 upgrades. It was also my birthday while we were there and I told them that. Still no upgrade. We came from Sydney and Amsterdam to stay with them. Felt like they really could have tried harder. The shuttle bus is great but a couple of times it just didn’t show up. There are two time tables. Attached pictures. These were correct during my stay in September. I asked several times before my arrival for shuttle bus info and they did not answer me. 🤦‍♀️ the sign is from HK station on the airport line and the paper was times for the different stops. Housekeeping lady, concierge and bus driver were lovely.

I'm on 30% off through agent package. Price worthy rooms feature delightfully nostalgic decor, alongside important safety measures. We were reprimanded and coerced by staff Liana? to be easy mind on the door in case of no time wanted that eventually turns out to lost chemistry. There is no misplaced item tracker. Instead, cams are being used in trailers to entertain across and impose white fears to commuters. Guests cooperative prevention/monitoring without intervening in the political office is a sign that human right totalitarianism struggles to rise above the low level agitators officials who endanger others than themselves, beyond pride and visionary. It was disapproved by the enthusiastic avant-garde member S. Instead of 20/20, from now on, the balance will be lost and great salary payments base on book experiences and aligning on ground level. - 2nd level tourism reviews. 🙇

Generally jolly friendly, except for a very few inappropriate HEAD-on instigations by black beans fiddling up the graceful foundations. 🙏🏼

P.S.

Employees in uniforms could be seen copying information while leaning on the bed in the VIP room, and at other times, the room was so small that it was difficult for two people to work together, we could see her throwing towels at guests one after another. Lets consider to pay tips less arouses on a keep-by-keep basis.🤝🏼

cams are used instead for trailers for frontier members entertainment. Guests co-operative prevention or watchdogs without interfering the policy was disapproved by low-rank staff member by instigator whose human right totalism endangers other elses except herself -- the ecstatic avant garde deputy S who struggled to go beyond her pride and visions, and took hind sights rather than 20/20, henceforth lost balance pretty pay pauvrement managed purely on the book experience - second stages visitation reviews. Overall socially friendly and good except instigations by inappropriate head to very few black beans over turning the graceful foundation.

P.S. We glimpsed on a woman-worker in uniform copied out information while leaning the bedside of a VIP room and another time throwing sets after sets of towels at the guests because the rooms were too small for them to cater more than two people working together. Remember tips for each keep, to less...

First night here leaving a review at 5:43am local time. So far not a great experience.

Was referred to this hotel by my friend who works here in HK locally because he had a good experience this year and was fortunate enough to have a good room. For a 4 night stay in HK I was willing to accept some realities such as limitations in space however there are much more problems than that. Very small room which barely has space to hold 2 persons light luggage. 2 single beds which size or cleanliness is not the problem (so far as I can tell) but comfort is. I have not had such a stiff mattress in any lodgings anywhere else in my experience. My neck is stiff and shoulders ache.

One overlooked issue is the rooms air quality. The Air conditioning strength is adequate however it seems to just recirculate the small amount of air inside the room and we were having issues breathing. The windows cannot be opened the slightest so the only way to try to get some fresh intake of air was to open the front door a bit by holding it open. The night staff noticed this and indicated we could not do so, keeping the front door open is not preferable to us either but no choice at this point. At approximately 3:30am we were discussing the other issues we were having with our experience, which included the fact that not only is each night $200+ CAD, paid in full prior, including a $1000 HKD deposit with the entirety of the booking fee non-refundable. The staff was quick to suggest our displeasure were subjective and that us wanting a refund for the rest of the stay, so we can take our business elsewhere is not in line with their terms of service. At this late time in the night instead of using some better customer service sense we are up here for almost 30 minutes disputing these things for which they couldn’t do anything about anyways.

Sleepless and anxiously awaiting time when management arrives in the morning. Never have to usually leave such a verbose review but not looking forward to having to stay here for the rest of this short trip.

*Update, ended up discussing our issues with the manager, not much could be done about the room or the hard beds but they did bring up an air purifier that helped greatly with the breathing and air quality of the room. For that I am...

I had a nasty experience with this hotel this morning (Nov 27). The driveway into the hotel entrance from the main road is extremely prone to accidents. I've seen a lot of of "near misses" recently, and today it happened to me unfortunately. As I was crossing the driveway towards the bus stop, a van turned in from the main road and was just inches from knocking me over. I was fortunate as I was able to run away quickly to avoid a fatal accident. The driver was looking at me straight in the eye but did not even bother to slow down. The van was delivering supplies to the hotel. I complained to the hotel and gave them my contact number. I expected to be given a follow up. A few hours later I was surprised to get a call from a car rental company. The caller said the hotel had given my number to them, asking them to speak with me instead. It transpired what had happened was that the van was a rented vehicle used by the food supplier who was delivering produce to the hotel. I was shocked the hotel had given my personal details to the supplier who in turned had given it to the car rental company. I told the hotel I did not authorise my details to be provided to so many individuals down the chain. It's obvious the hotel did not want to acknowledge any responsibility for the incident. The driveway is a BIG problem - it's small and narrow, and cars which are swerving in from the main road don't always pay attention to people crossing the driveway. What's more, the van was speeding. I then complained to the hotel manager there (Ivy Siu) but she didn't seem to be interested in acknowledging their mistake and pushed away all responsibility. I am taking the matter to the Police. In the meantime, I would advise people to be extremely careful when crossing the hotel driveway. Visitors should avoid staying here for their own...
