During our recent holiday in Macao, we stayed at the Artyzen Grand Lapa Resort. The resort is perfect place, if you have young children accompanying you. Our grandkids used to spend most of day either playing in the kids’ area (Artyzen gives 2 hours play time complimentary each day) or the swimming pool, where they have a beautiful slide, which is a big hit with the kids. The layout of the Hotel is beautiful. The area between the building with rooms and the pool is lined with trees and even during mid-day it is definitely a degree cooler. The food spread at Cafe Bela Vista (CBV) or Naam, Thai restaurant is quite impressive and delicious. The breakfast spread was also huge and all the things they served were delicious. The Artyzen staff are very helpful and make sure that all your needs are met, with a smile. I would personally like to thank, Mr Jowel (Naam) and Ms Berna (Housekeeping), who went out of their way to help us. Yesterday around checkout time, we got late for lunch, but the staff at CBV made sure that we got whatever we ordered for lunch. Other small things which show that Artyzen cares for their guests are a USB cable with multi heads for charging your phones, tablets etc in the bedroom, a small stool in the bathroom to help kids reach the basin and drinking water infused with lemon, which they serve in the restaurants. Thank you Team Artyzen for a wonderful holiday. Definitely recommended.

We were on a family trip so we booked the 2 bedroom, one living room family suite. The rooms were super nice with both rooms having their own bathrooms and an extra toilet in the common room. The service was impeccable and I am not exaggerating when I say every single member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our kid loved the swimming pool as well. The breakfast wasn’t a showstopper but it did serve a good variety of options. Luckily, the hotel is located very close to a local residential/business area that has a lot of local shops, restaurants, and cafes so we were also able to grab some breakfast and coffee elsewhere, which was another perk. Finally, the fact that this is not a casino hotel made the stay even so much more enjoyable. The entire hotel was clean, quiet, and non-complicated. Having read so many reviews of other hotels where non-smoking rooms wreaked of cigarette, I was extremely relieved that our room did not at all smell at all. If I ever need to come to Macau again, I will definitely come back here. 10/10 recommend!

My sister and I recently celebrated her birthday at Artyzen, and overall, it was a positive experience. The staff, especially Gary, were incredibly nice and helpful, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The birthday cake provided was incredibly tasty, adding a delightful touch to the celebration. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a welcome fruit basket and letter upon arrival, which was a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, we appreciated the extensive pillow options available, allowing us to personalize our comfort. However, there were a couple of setbacks with the room facilities, such as the TV not being in high-definition, the coffee machine not being cleaned and broken hair dryer. We appreciated the staff promptly replaced the hair dryer. Nonetheless, the stylish rooms, convenient location, and the exceptional efforts of the staff made our stay enjoyable. We hope that the mentioned issues will be addressed for the benefit of future guests.

Staying at The Grand Lapa was definitely worth our while. I was there with my 6 year old son and we had star treatment from the day we arrived to the day we left. We got free a free upgrade on our room and a really late check out on our last day. I also got some me-time at the spa and gym as the hotel staff took care of my son in the kid's club. The pools are a definite hit with guests, especially since one of them is warm. Similarly , there is a water slide that is really popular with kids. I must mention the gentlemen at the door: Edgar, Mark and Arièl - they made both our welcome and farewell memorable and comfortable. It was especially helpful that they called a taxi for us whenever we needed to leave the hotel. Finally, we were keen to eat at Bella Vista, given all the hype about its place as a historical icon. The ambience was lovely, but the food itself and the slow service was a bit of a let down. Overall, I definitely recommend a stay at the hotel.

Overall, the stay we had was exceeding our expectations - from the very warm and accommodating hospitality & reception by the staff, the amazing and high comfortable spacious room to the well-equipped facilities! We were greeted by the warm hospitality & reception of the hotel staff, after we came in out of the rain. Being our first time in Macau, we were attended by Edgar at the Concierge who guided us the public transport, shuttle buses and recommended places we can visit. The room was superb, it is very well-maintained by the housekeeping services and they are prompt too! The room was very spacious and aesthetically, it exceeded our expectations. The facilities provided are great - not only was there a large pool with slide, there is well-equipped spacious gym that is well-maintained. Not only that, there's a well-equipped locker room with sauna, steam room and hot pool!
