We found the food to be good at standard Macao Portuguese restaurant prices. The table red wine was well priced and surprisingly good, with a half litre enough for the three of us. All dishes are just over or around MOP100, with a 10% service charge overall. We ended up paying MOP500 for dinner and wine for 3 people. We were very full afterwards.

The menu is in English, Chinese and Portuguese.

We had:

1. Duck rice - the duck was tender and the rice cooked just right. The sausage on top was only a few pieces however, less than I've seen at other restaurants.
2. African half chicken (spicy chicken) - this was pretty good and the size of the chicken was impressive, although the sauce on top makes it look bigger than it actually is. Again, it was pretty good, but I think I was spoiled last time I came to Kaohsiung because I have tasted slightly better. However I was very happy with the taste and would order it again.
3. Cabbage stir fried in garlic - this was pretty standard, nothing special, but the portion was quite generous and was too much for three people.
4. Chicken curry - this was chicken on the bone and was very tasty. Came with rice and had vegetables inside the curry.

Overall I recommend this restaurant, especially if you are staying at the Rio because it's just around the corner in a cute little alleyway.
