A Vencedora is local restaurant on Rua do Campo that opened in 1918, making it one of the oldest eateries in Macau. This is a good place to try traditional Macanese food. Opening hours are 11am to 11pm daily. Closed on public holidays.

You'll find two floors of simple cafe seating with a menu features a wide range of Macanese as well as some Portuguese and Cantonese favourites . The owner is very friendly and happy to help you with orders if unfamiliar with local Macanese or other food items on the menu.

Food orders are pretty good, very reasonably priced compared to many restaurants closer to the Historic Centre of Macau. Overall, A Vencedora is a good experience for those who want simple, traditional Macanese...

BEWARE! This restaurant scams foreigners BIG TIME. I am a seasoned world-traveller, and have seen this kind of scam before. While the food is delicious, they cater really only to locals. Due to this, they have "special" menus for foreigners, which are not given to locals. If you don't read Chinese, they will take advantage of you, charging more expensive prices for an item that is much cheaper on the Chinese menu. They will then apologize after, claiming the waitress made a mistake, but then force you to pay the higher rate, since you ate it.

Quite a shame, since the food itself was fantastic. I will not support any business that scams others...I hope you heed...
