Everything went downhill since we showed up at the restaurant. Concierge in Grand Lisboa made a reservation at this restaurant, when we arrived the receptionist who couldn't speak in English, couldn't find the reservation. Since the restaurant was not busy we were assigned to a nice table. I beleive this is the old Robuchon space. The servers seem to be angry and unhappy and just keep walking up and down aimlessly. Our server took the order, like a robot. I asked the Mr Pradip if I over ordered, and he said its fine. Caldo Verde Soup.was tasty, but nearly cold. Bacalhau crabmeat The highlight of our dinner, very tasty. Portugese Chicken Flavourful, large portion, nearly cold Pork and Clamd Bland, tasteless and cold. The order was way too much for 2 people. More than half of the last dish was left behind. Mr Pradip never even asked why we didn't finish our food, just cleared the table. Sommelier Jim and server Jerry were the only 2 staff who was cheerful and friendly. I'm not sure why the temperature of the food is so unappetizing and the staff has such a...
Read moreAn embarrassment to Portuguese cuisine! We Portuguese are extremely proud of our food and a great thing about real fine dinning Portuguese restaurants is that they manage to reinvent dishes while keeping the awesome flavors. In general the element of dishes are not connected whatsoever and don't add a thing to the main food. On top of all this, my Bacalhau gratinado came with raw potatoes and it was not more than tons o Bechamel source with an extremely poor quality cod fish. On top of this, I was presented with a huge fish bone (over 5cm long). Showed it to the waitress, who said she will tell it to the chef, but never even got an apology......

Absolute food quality needs improvement. The clams are not that fresh albeit size being relatively big. The cod fish has similar issue, and slightly overcooked, slightly salty. All the slightly missing points lead to a mediocre dining experience Slow service. Served bread after being seated for 25min. Actual food didn’t arrive until another 15min. It’s not particularly busy with another 6-7 tables Not the exact issue with the restaurant but the old Hotel Lisboa is just being old with outdated decor and style. Very subjective as some people might like it being old school
Originally gave it 2 stars but the egg tarts bumped...
