The Bund Finance Center is a building notable for its three overlapping, moving layers of vertical stainless steel pipes. Though I tried hard to capture them moving, eventually I didn't succeed. Maybe it's a myth that they move... Who knows. Whatever, modern art expositions are organised here by Fosun Foundation, so the entry tickets are quite expensive - around 140-150 RMB, compared to the public museums which sell tickets at 30 RMB. Between this building and BFC Shopping Centre, there is a narrow street called Fengjing Road. It's very beautiful because on one side there is the gorgeous Bund Finance Center, and on the other side there are colorful walls of BFC Centre. Pictures...

Completed in 2017, Bund Finance Center is comprised of a shopping mall (underground levels), office towers, boutique hotel and restaurants. It's a project by Foster + Partners and Heatherwick Studio combined, with the Cultural Centre building as it's most unique and interesting architecture. The main element is a moving facade with Chinese style. Don't expect it to move constantly (or fast) as it only does once in a while during scheduled hours. I visited the exhibition space (had to buy a ticket), which also granted me access to the rooftop and one of the best views to the river and the iconic skyline of Pudong. It's just a few minutes walk...
