My family and I went this afternoon to the Crow Museum of Asian Art. There was a man who was an employee that followed us around the first floor. I had to say excuse me in order to read the museum label on the wall describing the art work. I’m not sure if it was due to our 9 year old going off to read by himself. Went on the last day of my birthday vacation with my sister. I was pretty excited to see it but was quickly disappointed with the lack of art and being stalked by the staff.

I guess they don't like black people (despite the majority of the staff that day being of Indian descent visually 💀). We were both dressed pretty nicely, too (I was wearing a t-shirt with a button up over top, jeans, converse. My sister had a really stylish top, jeans as well, and heels).

Amazing free museum with wonderful staff. This small museum is amazing and always has some of the most beautiful and unique exhibits on display. Myself and my girls, both under 10 enjoyed it very much. Some people may be underwhelmed comparing it large museums like the DMA but this intimate setting is amazing to really get a close look at the art on display.
