I slept on top of one of the wooden bench shelters for around 5 days after arriving in Paphos, having arrived early my rented accommodation was not ready for me. The beach itself is comfortable with a lot of growth, some people complain about this but honestly these days its a welcome sight to see something other than urban construction and desert brush, so I'm open to non-human signs of life wherever I can find them. The beach facilities were adequate for my needs, I had a shower in the morning and evening (They are open 24h from what I can tell), temperature around this time of year (summer) rarely drops lower than 18°C so if you're planning a night time visit then you don't have to worry too much about brining a jacket. The stars are almost always visible with the occasional cloud blocking view, but the light pollution from the city is negligible. If you're looking to swim then the water is warm but I recommend wearing water shoes or a pair of old trainers to protect your feet (although I would recommend this on pretty much any beach where its likely you might step on something nasty). If you're looking for a more quiet and natural beach than the classic tourist hotspots then this is definitly the place to be, personally I prefer the night time because the temperature during the day can make it very easy to suffer heat related illnesses, although this is not a great problem of you come prepared. There are significantly more people during the day but the sea is consistently the same temperature whenever you come, so a night time swim can be a lot more private than a daytime one and just as (If not more) enjoyable, although you might opt for the latter if you have kids or are looking exclusively to tan. There are probably comparably better beaches in the area if you're talking objectively but subjectively this is a great place to be.

Beautiful beach, there's a little hut cafe that sells lovely food.. we had burgers and home made chip's!! Always a win for me, they also rent out beach beds for €2.50 for the day, and you can also rent the beach brolly for €2.50, so for €5, you can lounge on the beach all day long, we had a wonderful afternoon there, Only thing I'll say is bring beach/sea shoes, the sea access has a rocky floor not sand, and can be quite sharp. Other than that, absolutely no complaints here.

This beach has been getting a massive reconstruction of a promenade. From Pathos Harbour to as far as you could possibly walk. The work is still going on in some parts along the route. The beach is a mixture of sand and rocky areas. The sea water is very clear for a swim. There was a volleyball net on the beach area of Pathos where I stayed, and every evening, people would gather to play volleyball.

Went to beach today (27th april) with mum and dad. Great location, with wonderful views. Beach is pebbly and a load of rocks in sea - wearing beach shoes is a must. Very long beach. Beach Village hotel at one end, a couple of cafes and lighthouse at the other end. Long promenade that takes you all the way to the harbour. Perfect location for weddings - saw one happen today (was very special).

This beach is one of my favourite spots for sunsets in Paphos. Located close to the Lighthouse and along the famous coastal broadwalk. This beautiful sandy beach has a nice snack bar with shower facilities. The only challenge on this beach is that its tricky to swim as the entrance to the sea is a bit rocky and slippery. Not impossible if you are careful or wear water shoes.
