I attended the 50 cent concert. The show was beautiful but the sound was a bit strange. The organization, on the other hand, is the worst I have encountered in a European country. Non-English-speaking staff, insufficient staff, I didn't see any police neither before the concert, nor after, on the way out. Feeling of safety: 0. But the worst: I had platinum tickets, sector 117, at one point when the spectators were dancing and jumping the floor actually moved, I panicked and moved to the stairs for fear that it might collapse under the weight and the bounces people. No rules are followed, IT s incredible in our days such things happend. At other concerts, we were not even allowed to stand on the stairs, the access/exit ways were blocked by people, totally forbidden at such events.
During the break I caught a young man smoking a normal cigarette in the arena. I went to the only man in the staff and he hardly understood what I wanted to tell him, he thought I was looking for a place to smoke. In fact, I took him with me and gave him shown how that individual smokes. Totally unacceptable what is happening at this arena... I do not...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible!!! I went there with my family for circus du soleil (1-2 years ago i think, however the experience was so awful i still think about this daily) Throughout the entire show i was feeling extremely sick, missed the whole thing as i was trying to make myself feel better by splashing water on my face in the bathroom. Could not find ANY person working there that could actually help me. During the break some people finally appeared (they had med kits with th em, clearly standin there in case of an emergency) so i almost CRAWLED up to them to literally beg for help as i was in so much pain i could barely stand, and all they did was “we cant do anything” THEN WHY ARE YOU THERE?? Their entire purpose is there to HELP people in need of a medical emergency. I had one. They didnt even bother trying to help me. didnt offer any water, didnt do anything. Even the cleaning lady tried to do more than they did. The show was (according to my family) amazing, ive been to O2 arena multiple times and honestly recommend it, but dont you dare get sick before that, as the nurses might literally just leave you...
Read moreEven though they attract their fair share of the top worldwide performing artists, this is probably the worst place in Europe to attend any major concert. I arrived 50 minutes before the start of an André Rieu event, but because of a total lack of organisation and inefficiency, I was finaly seated 15 minutes after the concert started. For a further 20 minutes we were disturbed by people who were struggling in the dark to find their own seats. It was impossible to find help to locate your place, and elderly and infirm people were left to fend for themselves when dealing with the steep stairs in the upper levels. I cannot comment on whether the concert was any good, as due to discomfort and disturbance. I was unable to appreciate it. One can only question the suitability of this Arena to host prestigious events, especially in such a cultured and vibrátor...
