Music City — Local services in Prague

Really bad customer service. They treat you like they are doing you a favor, showing no interest in selling you stuff and projecting the feeling you are making them "work". I showed up 20 mins before closing hours. Plenty of time for what i needed. I went in for 2 guitar stands and a capo. I wanted to choose some harmonicas too, but they discouraged me! Once I payed for the rest, I realised they gave me the worng capo (mistakes can happen) and they denied me to change it immediately because they were 5 minutes about to closing hours, despite having more customers in the shop. They want me to come back another day for chaging the capo. The shop is not in the city center, and their opening hours are very limited. Wasting the trip there another day to change the item when they could have done it inmediately is very annoying.

I am into supporting local phisical stores, but honestly... with such a customer experience, I will rather prefer buying in Thomman or other comepetitor online shops. What is the advantage of going to the physical...

Very nice music store. They have lots of space with several levels. I've been to the drum section specifically and it's very well sorted and mostly well selected and relevant gear, as well as some funny funky little gadgets. There's something for every price tag and made by various brands. The staff was extremely nice although not the most helpful in my case as his English and German were limited and my Czech is... Well nonexistent. But that's not their fault, they're not in the city center and not doing much business with tourists. So wonderful place, their prices are great. I actually got a few heads and accessories cheaper or for the same price as if I ordered...

I went here because there was an item I wanted in pro audio. Their website said they have 2 in stock at the Praha location. I went in to the pro audio section and there was no one there to help me. I asked another department and they said no one is in pro audio today. Ok….

Asked if I could buy the item. “Oh it’s not in our store”. But what about what it says on your website? “Our website is not perfect” Ok…

Can I order the item? “No only on the website.” Ok…

So I went to another music store and bought it. Not a cheap item either - 13k CZK. Why does this store even exist with a customer...
