This ice cream store was a huge disappointment. Right at the entrance, they brag about being “one of the 20 best ice creams in the world” and even compare themselves to authentic Italian gelato. As someone whose family actually owns a gelato shop, I can tell you this is nowhere near the real thing.

I tried the strawberry with mint. Fruit ice cream should be refreshing, bright, full of real flavor but this was bland and lifeless. Same story with the mango no punch, no natural taste, just dull. I also tried the vanilla with yuzu honestly, borderline disgusting, unbalanced, and unpleasant. Even the cinnamon ice cream, which I had some hopes for, was just okay nothing memorable, no “wow” factor.

To top it off, they don’t even offer whipped cream. If you’re claiming to be on the level of Italian gelato, not having basic toppings like that is just embarrassing.

And the price? 186 Danish kroner that’s about €25 for this underwhelming experience. For that kind of money, you expect top-tier quality not bland flavors and missing essentials.

Bottom line: don’t believe the hype. There’s real gelato out there and this is...

Disappointing Experience, Lacking in Flavor and Authenticity Tried five different scoops and unfortunately, only one stood out. The vanilla was completely overpowered by an odd addition of “yuzu”, a citrus twist that ruined what could have been a beautifully simple flavor. Why complicate something so classic?

The mango and strawberry sorbets were bland, lacking the fresh, vibrant taste you’d expect, they simply didn’t deliver.

The only scoop that truly impressed was the cinnamon, rich, well-balanced, and genuinely enjoyable.

And here’s the biggest shock: no whipped cream available. As an Italian, I’ve never come across a gelateria without panna, it’s part of the experience. Honestly, this felt like a missed opportunity to offer something authentic and memorable.

Not worth...

I was walking past and saw many customers eating their ice cream, so it caught my attention. Their sign said they were considered one of the "Top 20 ice cream stores" in Europe.

I went in, the store was clean and the staff was friendly. I had two scoops of the daily special, one of which was apricot, the other one I don't recall... I threw away 80% of it, which I NEVER DO with food.

I tried to get through finishing it, but it was just so boring. I would have rather just drank straight up heavy cream with some honey. Again, I threw away the majority of an ice cream I had just paid for, which is unfathomable for me.

The ice cream was terrible. Truly the most boring, flavorless ice cream I've ever had. Buy an ice cream bar from a convenience store and save yourself the...

The gelato here is unreal. There are 10-15 flavours to choose from and all are quite unique, with the addition of herbs / fruit. I had a scoop of chocolate and of cinnamon and they were amongst the nicest gelatos I’ve ever had. The portions are huge and the staff are very friendly, would love to come back here to try some of their other flavours. My only critique would be of personal preference to have more standalone flavours that don’t have floral/herby additions to them.

Really lovely ice cream place. Great smooth texture. Has vegan and non vegan flavors. Unusual flavor combinations - rhubarb and star anise, hazelnut and lime, cinnamon and caramel, mascarpone and chocolate chips…they have a rotating catalog of flavors and the owner also experiments!
