This mall not only charges 200 pesos to park which is ridiculous especially after having spent time watching a movie, eating dinner, and shopping but then, you have to deal with the chaos outside of the mall. I was hit by a driver who triple parked and decided to dart out into the lane of traffic that I was driving in after leaving the mall. There is constantly chaos out front by cars double and triple parked due to pick ups and drop offs and the hotel traffic. I find that the mall does nothing to alleviate the traffic that this causes. They should not allow the double and triple parking out front or any of the chaos that happens outside no matter what the time of day. They are fostering dangerous conditions on an already busy and chaotic Street. The hotel and the mall need to be responsible for the disruption in the traffic patterns and the dangerous conditions which they are causing and allowing to continue on on a daily basis. Now after being hit by a driver who was triple parked I have to be inconvenienced and drive around to different insurance companies and deal with the ridiculous procedures that they have here. The mall needs to step up and take some responsibility and clean up the mess that they allowed to go on outside of their mall everyday. Read moreI love and enjoy this place in Santo Domingo. I recently visited for a short business trip and stayed and the JW Marriott hotel there. The Hotel experience was great and I loved the bar outdoor space. I understand why some people will have a problem with this place, when it comes to the customer service experience. Culturally there is a lot racial and social bias that I wish DR will get rid off. Never the less, it’s my country and I love experiencing all that it has to offer. Blue Mall is my place of choice to shop and have lunch with my friends whenever I am in the country. I feel very comfortable and safe there. I gave three starts because of the Customer Service issues. Read moreShopped at the Under Armour store and the employees were extremely rude. It was the worst experience in an under armour store. The employees never greeted us and during the whole time we were in the store they never asked if they could assist us. Rather, they stayed behind the cash register joking about how they couldn't wait for their shifts to be over so they could get out of the store. One employee came out from behind the cash register just to stand around and stare at my dad, his friend, my husband, and my kids who were sitting down.
