Hurghada City Center is a convenient and well-rounded spot, especially if you’re looking for a mix of local products, everyday essentials, and a relaxing place to take a break from the sun. It’s not a luxury destination, but it’s clean, well-organized, and has everything you might need in one place.
Two shops inside offer genuine Egyptian cotton products — soft, high-quality, and perfect for gifts or souvenirs. There are also several stores with locally made clothing at fair prices, giving you a chance to support Egyptian craftsmanship.
The grocery store is well-stocked, the pharmacy is excellent and professional, and there are ATMs around the mall for quick access to cash. There’s also a decent kids’ play area to keep little ones entertained.
One of the nicest surprises is the sea view from the upper levels — it adds a refreshing touch to your visit. You can enjoy a coffee or quick bite while overlooking the Red Sea, which gives the whole experience a more peaceful and scenic vibe.
The cinema was closed during my visit, which was a bit disappointing, but hopefully it reopens soon. As for prices, local products are fairly priced, but imported goods can be on the expensive side — something to keep in mind.
All in all, Hurghada City Center is a practical stop with a local heart and a beautiful view. Great for picking up essentials, browsing Egyptian goods, or simply taking a break with a...

Read moreThe thing to be aware of is the price increases, most disappointingly in Carrefour. Now most of the products has prices similar as in Europe. My advice is if it's possible, go to Gomla market near sheraton street, the items there are much more reasonably priced. You might say, as a European a few quids won't make a difference to my bank account and to that you are right, but why would I give my few quid to a massive company when I can give it to the actual Egyptians living in hurghada. The facilities in the centre are great, clean lavatories, cinema is good, some things you can do with the kids. There are plenty of places to sit and have a drink and some of the coffee places are reasonably priced. Overall it's worth a wonder and you might get some...
