Amazing Ethiopia Tours — Attraction in Addis Ababa

A few words of appreciation for the fantastic time we have spent in Ethiopia thanks to you and your team. Alex has made our stay in Addis very pleasant and instructive. Been fans of Ethiopian food we particularly enjoyed the lunch at the museum and at the Kategna restaurant! The Simien mountains with the Gelada monkeys and the fantastic waterfall was the rightful beginning to the wonders of Ethiopia and in strong contrast to the following visit to Awash Station. There, the 7 hours hike to the Fantale volcano in the middle of the day reminded us of the hardship of living in such a hot environment which can reveal its secrets as in the case of the Filwoha hot springs at sunrise. The stay at Langano was a welcome rest in a truly amazing resort! The Bale mountains where again a fantastic experience. The Ethiopian wolf has made the hole experience unforgettable! Arba Minch? Every thing was just right! The road trip to the Nechisar and the subsequent hike to sneak on the zebras was what makes Ethiopia a hidden gem!

…..My friend Maz and I had the most amazing time and we loved Ethiopia, the trip to the Omo valley and the people we met. The scenery was amazing and the weather was kind to me. We had many high points, mainly meeting the tribes people and the locals. One major highlight was the bull jumping ceremony which we were very lucky to see. Also camping under the mango trees for me was amazing.

The scenery is amazing in the Omo Valley and surpassed our expectations. The tribes people are fascinating, although I won’t miss them saying ‘Photo, photo’ all the time. We were able to see many parts of Ethiopia and enjoy the remote landscape. Our guide, Haile, knew what we would enjoy and he was able to contrast the north and south regions for us. Our driver, Aman, was a delight and his driving was smooth, in control and I felt safe with him.

I brought my baskets and crosses to work so others could understand Ethiopia. They were so surprised. All they knew of Ethiopia was the starvation and loss of crops a few years ago. Tonight I am going to introduce 4 friends to Ethiopian food at a local restaurant. Ethiopia now has a special place in all our hearts!!……Thank you Amazing...

I traveled with Amazing Ethiopia in December and everything was great. Drivers and guides were always on time, the booked hotels were excellent and they were very flexible in getting us the exact itinerary we wanted.

There was just one issue between the agency and the guides from the Simien Mountains: apparently they didn't pay what they were supposed to, and the guides expected us to pay in place of the agency. Obviously we refused because we have nothing to do with their business, and everything was fine.

At the end of the trip, they invited us for dinner in a traditional restaurant in Addis. I would travel with them again. Thank you so much...
