This supermarket is located inside the largest shopping mall in the area, and it’s definitely one of the biggest chain stores in the Faroe Islands! 🏬 It’s well-stocked with all kinds of daily necessities — they even have a hot food section.
You’ll find pre-cut fruit trays here, but a small box of sliced watermelon and pineapple costs 45 DKK, which is even more expensive than in Singapore supermarkets! 😵💫 Snack prices like chips are also outrageously high.
Shopping here really tests your life experience 🛒 — some items are a good deal, while others are total rip-offs. For meat lovers, you can find thick cuts of steak 🥩 to cook at home, which is much more economical than dining out.
Surprisingly, berries like raspberries, blueberries 🫐, and strawberries 🍓 are reasonably priced — globally these fruits tend to be pricey anyway, so the difference here isn’t too shocking.
