This shopping center is surprisingly the largest mall in the entire Faroe Islands! It houses over 20 stores, including a large supermarket, beauty shops, trendy clothing boutiques, electronics stores, souvenir shops, cafés, and an ice cream parlor.

There’s also an ATM that supports cross-border withdrawals — perfect for travelers urgently needing local currency. 💳💰

The supermarket here is quite well-equipped and even has a hot food section. Matas, the well-known beauty and health chain from Denmark, offers a wide range of skincare, cosmetics, personal care, and wellness products. Honestly, finding a proper facial cleanser in supermarkets on the other islands is a real challenge — locals here don’t seem to care much about skincare!

One hidden gem in the mall is the ice cream shop — an unexpectedly delightful dessert stop worth checking out. 🍦✨

Other stores, however, are less impressive in terms of value. The electronics shop, for instance, marks up even globally price-fixed products like Apple devices and headphones. The Apple noise-canceling headphones here are 33.5% more expensive than retail in Singapore — which itself isn’t even considered a cheap market. 😳🍏

Still, for an island with a population of just over 50,000, having a modern two-story shopping complex like this is already quite remarkable. It’s unfair to compare it to the bustling malls of large...

I would have liked there to be more clothing stores with more variety in sizes and styles, such as H&M or Lindex. I would also have liked the mall to have been more handicap accessible, as I saw a woman in a motorized wheelchair struggle to get past people in the corridor to the bathrooms.

There were several restaurants, and there seemed to be a good selection of foods to choose from.

I especially liked the store called "Rumbul", which had a variety of hygiene products, toys, candy, you name it.

A nice small town mall, with stores to satisfy most needs. The fast food offers are decent, our favourite is the café for variety.

I generally meet friendly, helpfull staff in the stores and the place is kept impeccably clean.
