I’m giving a 5-star rating because I don’t want to harm the business with a lower score, but I feel it’s important to share some detailed feedback. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with many positives. I opted for the most spacious room, which featured a well-equipped kitchenette and a very comfortable bed. However, the close proximity to the building across the street results in a lack of privacy, so they keep the curtains closed even during the day, likely to avoid disappointing guests with the view. This was a bit of a letdown since I prefer natural light.

Another area for improvement is the TV, which offers very few international channels, limiting entertainment options for non-local guests. The bathroom, while aesthetically pleasing, had a significant issue with the shower. The showerhead isn’t stable due to the overly stiff hose, which causes the water to spray directly onto the wall instead of where it’s needed. This made showering a bit frustrating. Additionally, the toilet’s flushing system requires two or three attempts for a complete flush, which is inconvenient.

One of the most frequently mentioned drawbacks in reviews is the breakfast, and I have to agree with the consensus. Despite the hotel’s effort to manage the flow of guests by distributing breakfast tickets at check-in, the dining area is simply too small to accommodate everyone comfortably. This leads to a crowded and rushed experience. Moreover, the quality and variety of the breakfast offerings are not on par with what you would expect from a hotel of this standard. The management often replies to reviews stating they are working to improve the breakfast situation, but from what I observed, little has changed. The disappointment is quite visible on the faces of other guests as well, which further detracts from the overall experience.

That said, the service throughout the hotel was very good, and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The hotel’s location is another major plus—situated in a prime area, it’s easy to explore the city from here. Despite the few drawbacks I’ve mentioned, I would still choose to stay here again without hesitation. However, next time I will definitely skip the breakfast option, as there are numerous cafés and restaurants nearby offering better alternatives. Plus, with a supermarket just a short walk away, it’s easy to stock up on essentials for your kitchenette, making breakfast in your room a convenient and...

Great location! If you're looking for a modern and clean hotel in Helsinki, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The hotel has a sleek and contemporary design that will appeal to those who enjoy a minimalist aesthetic. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is its cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there's a sense of warmth and hospitality that pervades the entire property. Another standout feature of this hotel is its breakfast. If you're a vegan or vegetarian, you'll be pleased to know that the hotel offers a great selection of vegan options for breakfast. Even if you're not a vegan, you'll find plenty of delicious and healthy options to choose from, including fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, and more. The bedding at this hotel is worth mentioning. The mattresses are comfortable and supportive, and the pillows are soft and plush. Whether you're looking for a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing, or you simply want to relax and unwind in your room, you'll appreciate the high-quality bedding that this...

The hotel is pretty conveniently located to most things in Helsinki which is quite nice. It’s walkable to a lot & also an easy walk to two different tram stations that got us just about anywhere else. The construction across the street didn’t bother us in terms of noise but our room wasn’t facing that direction; it would be nice to have that construction done just to be a bit more calm. We booked a Comfort room and I’d say it mostly met our expectations - no frills really but sufficient for not needing to spend much time in the room and reasonably priced. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at. Staff was friendly and helpful, including allowing us to pack up a breakfast before it opened for our early travel day. The breakfast was solid although I’d like to see a few more hot choices (meats, eggs, etc), but overall it was tasty and good value. We’d probably be happy to stay here again, although I’d also consider other options in the city as well as I can’t say we were blown away by Hotel...

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Helsinki! Hotel Fabián is a gem in Helsinki! Its location is absolutely perfect – just a few minutes' walk from all the major sights and attractions. I loved how easy it was to explore the city from here. The included breakfast was a real highlight. It was very comprehensive with plenty of delicious options, including a great selection for vegetarians. The coffee was excellent too, a perfect start to the day! The service was top-notch. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with any request or question. This made a huge difference to my stay. My room was very comfortable and well-appointed, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing. Considering the quality and location, the price was very reasonable and offered great value. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient, and friendly place to stay in Helsinki with a fantastic breakfast, look no further!
