Cassonade Cannelés & Spécialités — Attraction in Bordeaux

On our way back to Toulouse after a 10-day camper-van road-trip in Bretagne we stopped by Bordeaux just to get a box of cannelés from Cassonade, our favorite ones by far.

We visited their new shop and production center, which both look neat and amazing. They were as friendly as usual and the cannelés are out of this world. Quel établissement, quelle équipe ! L’équipe pourrait vous le confirmer : je pense avoir goûté à presque tout. Bien sûr, mention spéciale au cannelé, avec une petite préférence pour la saveur “vanille”. Le cinnamon roll, légèrement tiède, est parfait pour une pause gourmande, tout comme la part de cake au citron, les Saint-James, les cookies, une part de flan ou de russe, et le petit dernier, le carrot cake. Tous ces délices sont souvent accompagnés d’un excellent cappuccino, et en été, d’un très bon thé glacé. Ajoutons à cela un service aux petits oignons, et l’on ne peut qu’avoir une superbe expérience. Je ne peux que recommander cette boutique chaleureuse.
