We were on the tour on 24th April at 16:00 with Xiya being our guide. It was an absolutely fabulous journey in Hennessy. Before we started the journey, we had a taste of the cognac ice-cream which we had never had. Charlotte, who I didn’t realise at that moment that she is a cognac expert, suggested us the XO one and the chocolate one. The ice cream tasted as good as she mentioned and it was a great add-on to the tour indeed. Then we started the tour with Xiya, who was exceptionally professional and kind. She demonstrated great energy and thorough understanding about the brand and cognac to all of us on the tour. During the journey with her, we were given much information with different ways of presentation and illustration. What impressed me most was the history of Hennessy and the VR session. Xiya was always with a lovely smile on her face while she was explaining the complicated procedures of giving birth to a bottle of cognac from grapes, and staying extremely energetic throughout the whole tour as well. The speed and the way Xiya led the tour was wonderful and I was always given enough time to digest what she had said and to ask questions as well. All in all I would definitely say Xiya has done a great job and given us a brilliant experience in Hennessy. Apart from that, I would also like to share my appreciation towards Raman and Charlotte (again). Raman joined us after we finished the tour and he shared with me a lot about cognac. He was a lovely person with professional knowledge about cognac. He amazed me with the suggestion of trying the Paradis after I told him what my favourite cognac is. He promised me I would not regret and Paradis was absolutely nice enough as he said. Charlotte popped in to us as well while we were having the discussion about Paradis. I was absolutely shocked by how knowledgeable she is about cognac. She was probably one of the most knowledgable people I met in Cognac about cognac. The conversation with her was really fruitful that it enhanced my understanding a lot, not only about Hennessy but also cognac as a whole. All in all the experience in Hennessy was splendid and it was not merely because of the fact that the brand is a top tier brand, but also the people whom we met on that day actually gave extra value to the tour.

I decided to arrange this tour as a surprise for my wife as this was the last night of our annual road trip, and more importantly she loves Brandy. It seems you can’t arrange a tour too far in advance (I tried 12 months previously but it wasn’t possible) however I booked it a few days before and we chose the last tour 5:15pm as we were travelling up from Carcassonne on our way home. Unfortunately the tour was in French (apparently there is one English tour a day) we missed it but it was still fabulous and interesting, and Charlotte our guide did do her best to explain things to us in English when she got chance, she was lovely, as was Sean who we met in the shop who was so knowledgeable (they both were). Really enjoyed the tasting at the end and I’m not a Brandy drinker, but will now be helping myself to my wife’s Brandy (Hennessy of course) we’ve bought a lovely set of 6 Brandy glasses for a reasonable €32 for our new kitchen. The trip takes two hours and is truly great, would definitely recommend.

We took the "Grape to Glass" tour and while very expensive, it was well worth the expense. We were able to visit the Hennessy vineyards, their smaller distillery, and actually go into the "Paradis" storage room (all of which are not available on the other tours). Our experience was enhanced by our guide, Emilie. She conducted the tour in English, French (and she also speaks Chinese), was exceptionally knowledgeable, and very pleasant to speak to. I can say without reservation that without her, this experience would have been much less memorable. Obviously we tasted some expensive cognacs (which we would not have been able to otherwise), and had an unhurried tasting experience which allowed us to truly appreciate the subtleties of the cognac as well as sample some French caviar. If you are looking for day to mark a special occasion or a "once in a lifetime" experience, then this is for you. Also, ask for Emilie because she was the "special ingredient" that made this day such a special one.

Fascinating visit to the famous Hennessy Cognac distillery in February 2024. Visit of 2 hours approximately that was led by a charming and knowledgeable tour leader called Aprile. The cost of €29 was well worth it and good value for money considering the high quality of the exhibition, the information shared and the visit between two locations in Cognac, with a short bus ride between the two. There was also a 15 minute audio-visual presentation with 3D goggles and while it was very clever and well constructed, did not, in my opinion, add an awful lot to the visit and left me feeling a touch queasy (recovered very quickly) afterwards! The tastings at the end of the visit were well thought through and informed regarding the different flavours that the master-blenders can evoke from the wide variety of the eaux-de-vie distillations that ultimately become the finished product. Book your ticket either at the exhibition or at the local tourist office. Very highly recommended outing.

Amazing service, attention to detail and presentation. We went twice with different family members. Cocktails were outstanding, and of course the Cognac by itself was stellar. Ice creams and sorbets were delicious! Charlotte was lovely and very personable! Great mini 'museum' inside with history, photos, paintings... as well as the large displays and comfortable tasting bar (pics). We did not do an actual tour, but found it very informative with what we did see. (And the town of Cognac is beautiful). Thank you!

We took the tour of the brandy storage area, which included a couple of audio visual presentations and a sampling of their vs and vsop brandies and a cocktail. It was all very professional and slick (sometimes too slick) and I liked the fact they offered drivers etc an alternative to the alcohol. It cost 25 euros per person, which was OK, but I thought the brandy a bit expensive, especially compared to the Martell shop and tour, which I preferred. (both taste of and content of tour)
