Good stop to visit when on our way to Agen. They have good view along the river and you can do canoeing too which you will enjoy. The river water is clear and can view the fishes swimming. Interesting things to do with kids. They will love it. The place is well maintained, cleaned and beautiful flowers around.

IMHO it’s not necessary to make a special trip to see this gate, however if you are walking along the banks of the river, it’s a nice photo opportunity

Jolie porte qui illustre le fait qu'un pont devait passer la Charente à cet endroit. Dommage qu'elle était barrée, pour des travaux semble t-il, lors de notre passage. On peut heureusement voir les 2 cotés, en faisant le tour par d'autres rues.

Ein schönes Eingangstor zur Stadt von der Uferprommenade. Die Straßen dahinter werden gerade saniert. Dahinter liegt die große Cognacbrennerei und das Cognacmuseum.
