An interesting experience for us. As our feet are tired of walking. This will be the best transportation to move around Colmar, best for tourists with young kids, elderly or tired feet like us. Hahaa.. The left side of the train has an in-build glass, good for those scared of cold air/wind during the ride or can prevent young kids falling off. The top of the train has a glass shelter, good for rain/shine weather, convenient for pictures taking if you want. The right hand side of the train is open air for people like us who enjoy the mother of nature.

It's ok. CASH ONLY. I'd like to try the "white train" instead next time or in the next town. The green (and white) train leaves every half hour or more, if the train does not have 10 passengers. The tour is posted as 35 minutes of driving time. Only 2 of the 4 headphones were working 100% in our row and our friends behind us only had 1 of 4. The non-working headphones only had one side of the headphone working. The most important part that I felt was lacking was the "guided" portion. So much more history could have been talked about in this ancient city. So much was missing and too much classical music. The music was beautiful, but so much more could have been narrated and shared. For example... What type of construct)besides "French Style."Stone from Lorraine or stone from Les Voges, imported from ... show us the oldest building on the route and tell us when it was constructed. There were many old visual signs (for those who could not read) on the route, like butcher, baker, etc. Tell us about them when we pass them. Souch was not said. Also, it was difficult to take pictures because the pauses were not longer enough.

This sticker is placed at the back of every seat and they try to falsely charge tourists 52 Euro for obviously cheaper headphones by accusing them that they broke it. I had to argue with the ticket seller at the beginning of the tour that the headphone was already faulty as I sat down and he insisted like two minutes only repeating the very sentence „sir you broke it“ and pointing this picture that says they worth 52 Euros. Apparently they do it all the time since they put this legally none-sense warning there and that is why I wanted to warn other visitors.

Taking the little tourist train is a good way to explore the streets in the center (old town) of Colmar. It gives you an idea which places to walk to and visit after the train ride. Ticket prices were Okay (around 20€ for two adults and two small kids). The ride offers headsets with many languages to choose from. Depending on the position of the train, you can hear historic information of buildings through the headset.

Very nice experience for families 👪 loved the route and had a great time and interesting information about the architecture of downtown colmar. The audio guide supports the Arabic language, and that was nice to have. The only thing that was disappointing is that they only accepted cash 💸 so we had to wait for the next ride because of that. Highly recommended 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃

Rude and unprofessional service. We had to pay cash and they told us paying by card was not possible, and everyone after us could pay by card! Also they don’t take into account COVID regulations of keeping distance, and put different families in one row. We visited on 18th Aug. the ride itself is ok for kids to listen in their own language to the city’s history.
