We had reservation at 18h today. Day was extremely hot. First huge advantage of Nagoya was a good strong airconditioner! After sweating the whole day we finally could settle and relax!!
We ordered different Sushi, Gyozas (Chicken), Fried Noodles and chicken wings. Portions were big, food was absolutely outstanding. I asked for a recommendation for rose wine and the lovely gentlemen gave a really good hint.
A complimentary Miso-soup and cabbage was served-very tasty.
The staff was very patient, when our 3-year old boy brought them spiders and bugs)) separate thanks for that!!
In the end we left full and happy..and could get the rest of the food packed for home. I would recommend that restaurant to anyone else and come back with our...

Judging by the prices, we would expect quality food... If you're looking for japanese flavors, I don't recommend eating at this restaurant. We ordered maki rolls: they were served hot and deep fried, with cooked salmon and the avocado was half melted from the cooking process. Next, we got a yakiniku don (in reality, it looked like a gyu don) that came with a bland long-grain rice, the beef was dry and overcooked, no dashi seasoning and no onions. As for the katsu don, still no short-grain rice in sight, eggs were almost inexistant and wasn't mixed with the meat and breadcrumbs, no onions, no mirin. Even the asian buffets where you can eat all sorts of dishes are more likely to transcribe the true japanese taste. Don't rely on photos that you can see in other reviews, it's not relevant of what you'll get. The staff could be more friendly as well. ...
Read moreThis was the most disappointing meal of my life. The ramen had no flavor whatsoever. It tasted like bland noodles in water and a bit of salt. The beef with rice had no japanese flavor at all. It was like a black pepper beef with regular rice (NOT japanese rice) and just altogether so disappointing. Finally, we tried the dragon roll and were more and more disappointed. I left the restaurant without finishing my meal and went to mcdonalds. At least it’s something I could digest. In conclusion, don’t come here. Save yourself the calories...
