Nice and clean beach (no waste) and friendly environment, the first steps towards the water are easy with good sand, then comes ugly sand with broken shells and sand mixture, difficult to walk. Immense plage de sable fin bordée par la célèbre promenade des planches (terrasse en bois d'azobe de 656 m de longueur depuis 1923) et ses 450 cabines baptisées sur les lices au nom des acteurs et réalisateurs du 7ème art américain. La plage démarre au port de Deauville. Établissement de style art déco les bains pompeiens créé par l'architecte parisien Charles Adda dans les années folles. Cafés et restaurant.
