STOLE 100€ FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT - I HAD TO CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD.
Stole 100€ out of my account just because they had my details. Didn’t even know until I checked my bank account. Late fee is 30€, due to known issues with French Air traffic control our flight was delayed, Manager said that’s fine but after 11pm it is 50€. We had to agree - we had no where else to go. He then asks to contact the person receiving us on WhatsApp (I was told by booking.com that this is purposefully done to scam as it is an unofficial communication channel).
They took advantage of our situation and CHANGED what they initially said to add an extra 100€ charge whilst we were boarding our plane at night with no where else to go. I have the two contradicting screenshots which were used in the investigation.
The next day I went to pay the 50€ cash as they requested and the woman at the desk berated me infront of the entire shop (Bagguys) that they use as their ‘office’ and told us if we didn’t pay 100€ cash that they would take our deposit.
I report this to booking who are investigating and in the midst of the investigation they withdraw 100€ using my card details without my consent which is stealing. Anyway what is done in the dark always comes to light and God is fair so after the investigation I got my money back but I had to write this review as a warning.
There is so much I could say but you can walk past bagguys yourself, look in through the glass and see them yourself - nothing further...
Read moreI purposely went here today based on the reviews. The owner wasn't there but there was a man fixing up shelves and brackets in the front part of the shop. He said the owner will be 5 mins. So I said ill wait because I need a suitcase to get home as mine is broken. Anyway after about 10 mins I went & sat outside & the very kind shelf fitter put my phone on charge for me so I could find my way back to the hotel. Anyway after about 20 mins the owner returned and I said I'd like a British airways carry on size case please. He said ' I don't know the sizes. But my phone had some charge now so I cud check the size. He showed me one suitcase but too small, then a 2nd case at €125 euro I said that's too expensive after which he walked away & took a phone call. I waited again and looked at some of the cases he had piled up. Next thing about 10 or more young people trouped in for the bag storage. I said Monsuir I though you were serving me?? He said I'm busy now with these people and walked off. I went over to him and said excuse me but I'm going to leave. You had me waiting for aaaages then you can't be bothered to help me now yiyr focusing on these new people straight away. He shrugged his shoulders and said ok. He wasn't bothered at all. I added pic of original introduction email where they state they are Bagguys.. and they also provide AirBnB assistance.. along with their names, Yann and Gregory. I suspect there are many more bad reviews that they have managed to get removed. If they worked 1/2 as hard to help us as they do removing a poor review, I wouldn't have felt the need to write a bad review in the first place.
Updated 2: BagGuys again pushed to have my review pulled. Clever of them, again. Still very wrong. Wish I could take away the 1 star.
Update 1: BagGuys did not like my review. Went to Google to suggest I was bad reviewer. ALL of my Google reviews were pulled. Reduced from 2 to 1 star.
Original Review: Reasonably easy to deal with. They served as concierge for about 1.5 years. Guest seemed to like them. We had a serious plumbing issue the last week they were hired. They refused to help. They said issue was too big. All we needed was for them to open the apartment for a plumber. They left us in a real lurch as we live nearly 5,000 miles away. Lots of people will take your money and help concierge your AirBnB. I would never use these guys again.
