Galerie Art-z — Attraction in Paris

I was lucky that the gallery was open and I could go in (while totally being ignored). Fortunately they didn't smell in me that I would totally spend a lot of money in African Photography - so I guess I got off the hook cheaply. However, the assistant at the "sister"-gallery next door was just leaving as I got there during their "opening hours" , and made absolutely no mention of staying any longer for a potential client to come in....

I have followed Olivier Sultan for probably 20 years, often giving in to a small purchase under good conditions. He follows his artists closely and brings us "the making of", often through videos or their presence and a talk. Through him we discover Africa and its contemporary artists, their stories and working conditions - and Olivier's original work...
