Had drinks and ate here a while ago and the food and and drinks were good, however I did not enjoy the service. We were waiting for the servers for the longest time ever. And it wasn't even crowded, it wasn't even rush hour. We were just ignored for a very long time. They would walk up and down past us and we'd try to get their attention and they'd just look away, like you weren't ever there. Lol this was the first time, we thought it was a singular event. Came back a second time, this time Saturday evening, so understandably busy and that's okay. We understand, we work in the food industry too. But what was particularly annoying was the waiter telling us, please wait a second, I'll be right back. And then proceeded to once again, just make us wait for... A realllyyyy long time. She never came back. Another waiter finally came to us, to tell us there are no tables available tonight as they've all been reserved and if we want to get a drink we'd have to come back in an hours time. Which was pretty annoying, because why would you make us wait for a long time just to tell us there's no table... So yeah, service definitely just...
Read moreThis place is a neighborhood favorite. Lots of locals hang out here at all hours: breakfast, lunch, drink, dinner; it’s always busy and hustling and bustling. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Lunch options include standard bistro food and plat du jour, which sometimes is a rice plate with curry. My favorite is their breakfast item homemade granola with yoghurt (they do have English menus!), so refreshing with amazing yoghurt (perfect milk/cream balance), fresh fruits and granola with minced raisins and nuts in a perfect blend of flavors, topped with fresh mint leaves and homemade berry jam. The portion is extremely generous and all for just 5.5 euros! It’s one of my favorite breakfast items in Paris. They also have amazing fresh orange juice. No wonder this place is so popular: good location, fresh good food with reasonable price, friendly service (they can even speak English if you struggle with...
Read moreWent there and ordered coffee and asked if they have soymilk, which the waiter confirmed and said he could give me a little jug on the side. As the cups are quite small I just poured a bit of milk after and after. So I just realised at the end, that it was dairymilk. As I am not allergic or anything I thought 'whatever, mistakes happen' and didn't say anything. After coffee we ordererd fries with cheese and veggie ham. When the waiter came my partner (french) asked if that really was the veggie ham, as it looked like actual ham. The waiter confirmed it to be veggie. I tried a tiny piece and it wasn't. Luckily that waiter just finished his shift and when we asked the new waiter he instantly changed our food and was way more professional than his colleague before. Place itself was cute, without that guys sloppiness would have defo given a 5...
