I really enjoyed my stay here. The self check-in process was really smooth, unlike some hotels that I've been to and struggled with. The location is convenient and close to an U-Bahn station and there's a Lidl around the corner and a bunch of restaurants. The staff were so nice, even though there is no reception, there are always staff members, either in the lounge or in the basement where the laundry and the lockers are. One of them was very nice and instructed me on how to use the lockers when I first arrived. They also always always reply to the WhatsApp number, they sent me a message there before arriving and I kept asking them there whenever I wanted something and they replied all day long. The freebies are perhaps my favorite part! They put lots of coffee pods, teas, salt and pepper as well as gummy bears and potato chips, sparkling water and lemonade. We could restock on aome of these from the basement too! The laundry instructions were clear too, they use an app called WeWash so I just downloaded, used the washing machine and dryer and paid. The room itself was clean and warm. Perhaps the view from the window is not the nicest, but I didn't mind it. Also the kitchen was too small and there was no stove in my room, but it was okay for me as long as there was a fridge and an electric kettle. Overall, really enjoyed my stay and I wished I could extend, but they were fully booked.

This is a self service hotel. No staff available. You get to access the building and rooms using a passcode shared to you by the hotel team over WhatsApp around your check in time. They are also available 24:7 over WhatsApp. The rooms are Very convenient and well designed with kitchenette. You clean your own room. Garage available in the basement, laundry room. No cafes or restaurant available in the building but many nearby options are available. They drop your breakfast bag in-front of your door in the morning if you request it. Food can be improved. AC can be improved to be colder. TV can include more diversified channels. Fire alarms if alerted is chargeable at 2500 euros just be careful. Also the way to the elevator from the main entrance can be improved by adding paintings or changing the lights as it feels now like a hospital. The smell on the way to the room can also be improved. The current smell is bad. The water heater didn’t work the last 2 days so you will end up showering in freezing cold. You can us for a refund. Cleaning happen once every two weeks. I highly recommend to have one dedicated team member at least to support the guests as responses take long time via what sup and it can be upsetting for many.

Everything was excellent. So modern and cosy. The very comfortable bed and furniture, only wardrobe was not enough. The shower and bathroom was good equipped and surprised with a cosmetic - even hair conditioner 👌 Small things like coffee capsules makes sweater your mornings. Everything looks so stylish and lovely. The location for us was so perfect like never before in Berlin (close to the downtown, to sightseeing, 10 min drive to night clubs, bars area, public transport is around the corner, supermarkets, cafes) About service. The online service was top and fast (Thank you Monica for your help) But the reception guy at first day looked how we were tricky with the front door like a couple of minutes and helped only later 😄 we made fun from it but somehow it was strange. Also would be nice to have the lockers for the bags after you check out, coz you need them the most at this time. But you can use them only when you stay in. Because of the pin-code that won’t work when you check out, so maybe it would be reasonable to make temporary pin-codes. But all together it was amazing experience, I think next time to come back 👌 Thank you Numa Team 🙌

This is my second time staying here and I really wanted to give 5 stars but sadly there are too many improvements needed.

No cleaning of room under 8 days which is pretty disgusting as you would clean your own home mich more frequently! The floor in the room gets dirty so quickly and there are no slippers provided which is a hotel standard and would at least help a little with this issue. I requested someone to come clean the floor and I was asked to pay! I found this so rude. Eventually they sent someone to vacuum the room, however whoever did it placed my dirty bathmat IN the shower. This raises concerns for me.

Chrome cast on tv stopped working, I was not offered any solution but to sent a maintenance man on the day of me leaving! What good is that?!

All of the plugs in the room and the tv went out of electricity and would not turn on. I advised the agent on WhatsApp I needed a solution asap as it was my birthday and I was getting ready for dinner, my battery was low and I needed to charge my phone before headed out. The service was really nonchalant and quite frankly a bit rude. I was told it wasn’t a general problem so wasn’t serious. I had to find the switchboard cupboard in my room. It took me ages to locate this until they sent a picture and then I was able to put the switch back on. This happened again during my stay.

I asked if a room upgrade was possible for my birthday, I was told no they were fully booked even though from my room I saw at least 4 rooms across the courtyard that were empty after housekeeping made them up for the whole duration of my stay! Also not even a little acknowledgment of my celebration. These are the little things in customer service and hospitality that keep customers coming back and can make your establishment stand out. This is not possible at Numa sadly.

Laundry room is located in the basement which doesn’t have lights in the hallway. As a solo woman traveler I felt very unsafe going down there myself at times

No lock on inside of room, which doesn’t feel very safe at all. Code or not, someone can easily break into the door or if they have your code enter and there is no extra level of safety in the event that this happens.

Super disappointed this time round and not sure if I...

We stayed at Numa Arc Apartments for about 3 weeks while were looking for an our new home in Berlin. In general we had a good experience.

What I liked the most was the online staff which provided support 24/7, it was very convenient especially in urgent moments. We were given a pin-code for our room which we used to get in the hotel and room itself. Our both rooms were perfectly clean, there was literally nothing that was wrong or unclean about em, from kettles to floor in the bathroom, sparkly clean. I especially enjoyed kitchenette. We liked the REN products in the room: shampoo, conditioner, wash gel, body lotion. One of the best things about Numa was definitely an Essential closet. It’s a place on -1 floor where you can find extra bedding, sheets or towels, also coffee, tea bags, earplugs, toilet paper, iron or even a fan. A couple of last days of our stay it was very warm outside so fan from Essential closet was extremely useful! I suggest everyone to check it out once you need something staying at Numa.

What Numa lacks is the good Wifi connection. If you’re planning to have video work calls during day time I don’t think you’ll be satisfied. Please keep that in mind. At first when I complained about it we stayed on 6th floor, IT support did something and wifi became better for a week, when we moved to 7th floor the wifi was awful, IT support didn’t do anything about it, it was very disapointing. What else would be great to have at Numa is cleaning after 4-5 days of staying instead of 8. At first we stayed for 7 days then we extended our stay on another 6 days and during this period of time we didn’t have a single cleaning. For the room of 20square meters it’s unpleasant experience. When I asked about cleaning I was answered that they can provide cleaning after 8 days of continuous stay or at the price of 50 euros.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I will definitely recommend Numa to everyone especially friends. For the price you pay you get an outstanding 24/7 support and great place to live. Staff and the place itself is worth to go back to. Thanks...

It is a long horror story on how you can lose both: a whole amount of money and the ability to live in already reserved and paid property.

I booked an apartment prior 1 week before the check-in date, and paid the whole amount for the reservation upfront for the all time of planned staying; I've booked an apartment for 8 nights, from 24 March till 1st April.

Due to different cirumstances I wasn't able to sent a message to the property owner at planeed check-in date that I would be late (basically, I would like to check-in 1 day after planned date, on 25 of March).

On March 25, ~midday, I've received a message from the property owner that they would cancel my reservation from their own side (!) in case I would not respond to them asap. At the moment of seeing that message, on March 25, I've responded immediately, kindly asking to do not cancel my booking from their side. What's happen next?

I got shoked by the following message from the property owner, because they said that they already cancelled my booking from their side and they would not give any money back for the whole time of planned stay.

If you can't belive that this is possible (and being honest with you, I was thinking initially that it's a joke), I'll rephrase that: Property owner can cancel your reservation for the whole period of time (!), which was already paid upfront. Property owner would not do any refund for your reservation, basically wouldn't return you any money back. You MUST inform property owner in-advance in case your check-in date is changed, otherwise they give you 24hr time slot from 3PM check-in date, and in case you wouldn't do that in the next 24 hours, they wouldn't not give you nor apartment nor money.

I'll never recomend anyone staying here, unless you want to waste your time and lose your money.

Be aware, that these guys are trying to speak nice with your, but this is the only thing they can do perfect,...
