The cinema itself is very nice from a technical point of view - huge screen, comfortable seats, impressive sound system, good projection. But service is lacking.

I went there twice since the grand reopening and both times I failed at getting the attention of one of the approximately one million waitresses serving basically anybody except me. I was ready to drop big bucks to get a little snack, but despite me waving at them, the waitresses just kept ignoring me while smilingly bringing even ridiculous stuff like sparkling wine to customers just a row or two away from me.

Also, one of the screenings I attended was pretty much sold out. That shouldn't be a problem but at Zoo-Palast it was as it took about 20 minutes from doors open until I could actually take my seat because ticket checks were seemingly taking forever. Perhaps they should have told some of the always-smiling-but-not-serving waitresses to help out with ticket checking.
