The city wall surrounds the old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber for around four kilometers and takes approximately 2 hours to complete by following the wall in the street. The first city walls were built in the early 1200. Free acces to only few part available of the wall.

If you are physically able, this is a MUST DO! Such great views of the city. We were walking around anyway, so why not do it on the wall! We really enjoyed.

Eine Runde um die Stadtmauer in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, herrlich. Es gibt viel zu entdecken, den Blick schweifen lassen, entweder über die schöne Altstadt oder von der Burgmauer. Immer wieder kommt man an Türmchen oder alten Häuschen vorbei, die eine wunderbare Fotokulisse Bilden. Gut zu Fuß sollte man sein und festes Schuhwerk haben.
