Rothenburg is one of the few medieval towns in Europe still surrounded by its original wall. What’s great is that you can walk almost the entire perimeter of the town along the wall. It offers stunning views of the medieval city from different angles. The full circuit is about 4,5 kilometers. The old wall isn’t exactly high-heel friendly, and taller visitors should keep in mind that people used to be shorter back in the day—so for much of the walk, you’ll find yourself ducking or tilting your head. I've been here couple of times and definitely will go back. 2 minutes to the city you will find car park costs 5 euros for the whole day, 5 minutes away from the city there is a trailer park with all the facilities water and electric.
