Der Rödertorturm wurde von 1385 bis 1390 errichtet und hat eine beachtliche Höhe von fast 44 Meter. Einer der vielen, sehenswerten, Türme von Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Der Rödertorturm ist im Gegensatz zu den anderen Türmen, zu gewissen Uhrzeiten, begehbar. Oben angekommen entrichtet man einen kleinen Obolus von aktuell (Stand 2025) 2,50€. Danach hat man eine tolle Aussicht über die Altstadt. Sehr sehenswert! Der Eingang befindet sich auf Höhe des Wehrgangs der Stadtmauer. Wenn man innerhalb der Altstadt auf den Turm zugeht dann gibt es links eine überdachte Holztreppe die zum Eingang des Turms führt oder zum Wehrgang. Bitte beachtet die Öffnungszeiten des Turms.
