Alright, it was not a perfect meal, but it was one of the best meals I had in Germany all summer. I did their house menu, which began with a very creative tomato and beet salad - though the basil element was overly frozen and didnt melt properly on the plate. The main was really terrific Berliner Luft ("air of Berlin") with calf liver, mashed potato, onion, and a really tasty gravy. The plating and presentation on every dish was superb. Could eat this over and over again. The dessert was called 'apricot tartlet' but it was so much more than that, with a mix of temperature and texture, and a height element and powdered sugar that made the presentation dramatic.
