Katelios Beach — Attraction in Argostoli Municipality

An excellent beach, we would definitely recommend. We visited in October and with good weather it was amazing.

Sandy shore and in the sea. Shallow for a long distant out. Very calm waters with almost no waves. Especially in the morning before the wind picks up a little. Safe and clear waters with some small fish.

Restaurants along the coast were mostly open in early October with free sunbeds for customers giving showers and toilets.

A very relaxing, calm and comfortable beach at this...

Lovely beach but not my favourite in the island. Whilst for Kefalonia this isn’t one of the top stunning beaches you have to remember how stunning all the beaches are on this island, and therefore this is still a lovely beach.

The main plus is for families as the water is so calm and shallow a long way out.

It also has the lovely quaint and traditional resort of Katelois running alongside the beach with lovely traditional laid-back shops cafes...

This is a nice beach with sandy patches and very shallow water. It's nice that there are many different restaurants directly at the beach and some even offer free sunbeds for their customers. For me this was one of the atmospherically most pleasant places on the entire island. I would highly recommend going here for relaxing, food...
