Lighthouse restaurant — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

Turned out to be our favourite taverna in Katelios. We returned 2 or 3 times in our week there.

This taverna sits literally right on the waters edge and so the front row of tables are just stunning. They often get reserved but 2 evenings out of 3 we went slightly earlier (7pm ish) and didn’t need to reserve a front row table.

Food and service are great. Love the homemade lemon liqueur that they bring with the bill. We asked for the recipe but were politely told that it was a “secret...

Went to this place on two occasions with a large group of us. Food and drink were excellent on both occasions. The staff were excellent very accommodating as we had not booked on both times. Food was well cooked the traditional meals were well executed and everything tasted fresh. The young Waitress was exceptionally fabulous 👌🏻 If we came back would be more than happy to go back there to eat Prices were fair.

We had such a great time at this restaurant that we revisited again the evening after. The waiters were all so friendly, the food was delicious and the setting was lovely. There was good choice for vegetarians too, and we were served a tasty appetif after our meal, which was a drink made by one of the staff. I was able to purchase a bottle of it on the way out too...
