Delicious restaurant — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

First night we spent in here was good, and the waiter accommodating therefore I wondered for the remainder of the holiday why this place isn’t as popular as the others despite the food being of a good quality. When we returned on our last night of the holiday I learnt that the reason is that the male waiter is rude and abrupt. Despite recognising us as returning customers within the same week - when there are plenty of other options just in Katelois - he was unfriendly and began explaining portion sizes when ordering starters & mains to talk us out of ordering what we had come in to order which made us uncomfortable and is unnecessary. The same waiter then removed my main dinner plate, that had a lot left, whilst my partner was still eating. I believe he did so to prevent me from feeding the nearby stray kitten that all other restaurants encourage you to do. Had a wonderful lunch here today. Staff welcoming and attentive and service quick enough. The menu offers a wide range of meals, and the children's menu is the best we've seen on Kefalonia with lots of popular options (this is rare!). The tequila sunrise and draught beer were perfect, as we're the kids juices. The food was amazing, my husband had the swordfish and I had the salmon, both cooked and seasoned beautifully. We did order an extra portion of chips as the mains didn't come with a "carb" on the side. The children loved their meatballs and cheeseburger. We then used their sunbeds for the afternoon and ordered drinks here also. Would definitely eat here again...

We only ate here once and are unlikely to return. Although the food when it came was good, the service however was not. Unfortunately the staff lacked professionalism, possibly due to inexperience.
