It has been the worst experience of our lives in a restaurant. It started off very well, with a tasty tzatziki. From there, everything went downhill. As soon as they brought us the seafood and fish mix, the nightmare began. First one wasp, then another, and then another. And so on, until we were surrounded by them. The waiter quickly brought out burning coffee grounds because, according to him, the smell scares them away. He brought two, but the only ones who ended up smoked were us. He moved us to another table, yet the wasps kept coming. He even grabbed our fork and tried to kill one with the same fork we were eating with, right over the swordfish portion... In the end, we asked to eat inside the restaurant instead of on the terrace, but the wasps kept coming to the food. We ended up eating the whole seafood and fish mix cold. We barely touched the potatoes because they were completely cold. Even knowing the ordeal we had gone through—and in which they themselves took part, since they were around us the whole time trying to shoo the wasps away or kill them with the cutlery we were eating with—they still charged us the full bill. No discount. Nothing. We’re staying here for several days, but we definitely won’t be eating at this...

I recently dined at the Blue Sea Restaurant, located within Kiani Akti Studios in Kefalonia, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The seafood&fish dishes were exceptional, showcasing the best flavors of Greek cuisine. Each meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious—and this was main reason to dinner 3 times in this restaurant during my 7 days trip too Kefalonia

The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who genuinely seemed to care about our experience. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and ensure that we had everything we needed. The welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant, complemented by lovely views of the sea, made for a memorable dining experience.

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy authentic Greek seafood while in Kefalonia, I highly recommend Blue Sea Restaurant. I can't wait to visit again Kefalonia and obviously...

Best food we had during our weekend trip in Katelios and best price. The food was excellent - as appetiser, we got the homemade tzatziki, which was creamy and delicious , probably the best I had in these 6 days in Greece, together with fresh pita bread. Then we had the grilled cuttlefish, which was served with a very well presented potato sauce and then a plate of fresh fish, anchovies, squids and shrimps. All the fish we had was tasting super fresh, the portions were great for 2 people. Ah of course we also had the home wine big jug. And the price… we only spent £44!!! This was probably one of the best value for money restaurant on the beach. The atmosphere was nice, the waiter was nice and chilled, the owner did his best to give us the table closer to the sea. Best option if you happen...
