Odyssia Apartments — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

I have stayed at the Odyssia apartments 4 times now, twice with my sister we had a 2 bed upper floor apartment ,and twice with my husband we had a 1 bed ground floor apartment next to the owners apartment, all times I have enjoyed my stays. the 2 bed are very spacious, we had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, a front and rear balcony, both with large table and chairs on, there was a kettle ,coffee machine, mini oven fridge/freezer, plenty of everything you would need to make meals ,if you wanted to, not that we do as the eating places are fantastic and right on the doorstep. Magda and her family are very helpful and welcoming , George even carrying our very heavy suitcase up 3 flights stairs for me and my sister :) the rooms were cleaned very day and the towels and sheets changed about every 3/4th day, which ive never had before in Greece ,so they really do go one step further for their customers I think. the aircon is free and WIFI too, and you get a very good signal from the minute you arrive there, a stones throw from beach ,and the tavernas, katelios is a small and mostly flat resort good if you have walking problems , the beach is shallow and mainly sand , odd time if weather has been windy /stormy you get shingle/pebbles washed up at the front for walking into , but then next day its back to soft sand we found. The 1 bed we had was next to the owners apartment ,and was under the stairs to the upper floors ,so it was very cool ,and a little dark, not mush sunlight getting in, so needed the lights on a lot when in there, but so cool when you came back from the beach it was great for us , only one small terrace at the front, mosquito nets on all windows so can sleep with windows open , we did not have them on upper floors apartment . again as with 2 bed room ,cleaned and sheets/towels changed every 3/4 days ,also toilet rolls supplied. even had bottle of water and carton of juice left in fridge for our arrival ,nice touch , this time I had a full size hairdryer in my apartment when I asked if they are in all apartments now, as never had one on other visits , I was told they have about 6 between the apartments so just ask if you need one . they also have small washing lines on upper floors with pegs , and lower floor clothes Airer ,so everything you need really, the gardens are very well tended, and the flowers are so colourful and smell lovely when in bloom, there's a shower outside to use, if needed when you come off beach. and they have spare box of beach items you can borrow, I used to borrow a small surf board ,but there was parasols ,lilo's. buckets and spades that sort of thing, we have booked again for next year its a very nice...

Stayed here for the first time after our 2nd visit to the beautiful island of Kefalonia, upon our arrival in the morning the staff were friendly & helpful on arrival showing us to our rooms which were clean, tidy & presentable, as there was 2 adults & 3 kids in our party so we had 1 of the bigger rooms in the hotel with a large front balcony with table / chairs outside with amazing views of the harbour, sea & ocean, the adult bedroom was large, spacious with high ceilings, dresser mirror tables etc & cupboards / storage with double doors & shutters, the kitchen / living room area was basic but again clean, tidy & had everything you needed, the kitchen had all the untensils, cutlery, crockery etc with 2 sinks, small over & hobs & large fridge / freezer , the 2nd bedroom again had double doors leading out onto a rear balcony with brilliant views over the hills & sea, the toilet was small but had decent shower, toilet sink etc but again no complaints, we at first found it strange there was no telly but seeing as we were out so much we wouldnt of watched it anyway, there is also WIFI , air con & a safe provided, i will point out this is not a fancy or exclusive hotel but will give it 5 stars as it was top notch &...

Wonderful apartments in an excellent location just off the main area and the little harbour, only a very short stroll to the beach where the majority of the tavernas and barsvare. We stayed for 2 weeks and couldn't fault a thing||We stayed in a studio which had a small kitchen area with a hob/grill, kettle and coffee machine and a fridge with a small freezer compartment at the top. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery provided along with a sink||We had 2 balconies, which all the rooms have, one is a private one looking onto the countryside and the other is at the front of the room where other guests come and go to their rooms||There was a safe provided in the room, one big wardrobe with plenty of hangers and lots of storage space. The bathroom was typically greek with a shower curtain and the shower spray is fixed on the wall or you can just hold it, whatever your preference ||All the staff were amazing, everyone so friendly and helpful, special mention for the lady who maintained the room, she was so lovely and very thorough, she came in every day to empty bins, towels and bedding changed every few days, room was spotlessly clean||We will definitely stay here again, it really was brilliant...
