The experience at this restaurant was disappointing. From the very beginning, there was no greeting from the staff — instead, the first question we got was whether we were there for dinner or just a drink. Considering the restaurant was nearly empty, this left a rather unwelcoming first impression. It also reflects what other reviews mention: if you only want a drink, you’re clearly not welcome here.
We stayed for dinner, and the food was average at best (3/5). Edible, but nothing memorable. Even the Greek salad was underwhelming — just a few pieces of cucumber and tomato, three olives, a couple of slices of feta, and barely any dressing. The pasta and moussaka were fine, but nothing special.
Service was the biggest issue. Our waiter spent time flirting with other guests, bringing them shots, and even drinking with them, while we were left ignored. We were never offered dessert, another drink, or any kind of attentive service. Instead, it felt like we weren’t welcome and that they were rushing us to leave.
Honestly, I don’t understand the hype around this place. If you haven’t been anywhere better, maybe it seems impressive, but there are plenty of truly amazing places to eat in Corfu Town. I’d recommend skipping this one — you won’t...

We went at 3.30pm. It was completely empty except one table. Seated us back from the water/view. Because that's only for food. I would normally have no problem with that - except the tables are bare, no cutlery or tablecloth or anything so it's not like we'd mess up the setting. Why not let people sit with a view for half an hour in a completely empty place? When it's not meal-time? What kind of dinner rush are you expecting in the 3pm heat?
We did as instructed. Wine was fine. Asked the server if they had space for dinner later. He said he didn't know and would get a colleague to check. 20 minutes later, no one came back. And so neither did we. 3 staff, all drinking coffee, no service given, not a smile to be seen. We went to Salta for dinner instead, so glad we did cause Salta was BRILLIANT.
As we were leaving they did this same "you can't sit there" speil to an older lady who was by herself. She was smarter than us and went to the place nextdoor with the same view and spent her money there. By the water. I suggest you...
Read moreAfter strolling around the charming old town we headed to this place. We chose it based on good feedback and the prime location.
We were quite early and there were lots of empty tables, so we got one right at the ocean. Fantastic views...you can see Albania from here on the other side.
Service was really friendly. Took a while for our food to arrive, but was cooked by order (in a small kitchen). Worth the wait.
Ordered some grilled sardines and Moussakka. The fish was really nice. Fresh, tender...nice grilled flavours. And for that price plenty.
The Moussakka was wonderful. Looked not that big....but Moussakka is a really filling dish and turned out to be more than enough. Freshly made, good and fresh ingredients. A classic greek meal...cooked perfectly.
A really nice place to eat. Service, food, views, price....the whole package. What might look like a bit of a tourist trap (even though a bit away from the center of town) is actually a really authentic greek restaurant that happens to have a...
